Jonny: Who would have thought that Anderson would be the better rested finalist this year (assuming Rafa and Djoker will finish this year)?

Ken: Definitely a case for change in a fifth set decider to just a tie break.

  6. 'Unusual situation for Serena and Kerber'published at 15:04 British Summer Time 14 July 2018

    Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV

It is a little unusual that you don't know what time you start in a final. In grand slams unless you play the first match you don't know what time you start.

For Serena Williams and Angelique Kerber it is a case of staying patient and waiting for this match to end.

Right, this is now the second longest Wimbledon semi-final... 24 hours after the first. Four hours, 45 minutes on the clock.

Rafael Nadal dusts off an opening Novak Djokovic winner with a fiery serve, but the Serb edges back ahead.

He's screaming now, an ear-drum-bursting blast from Djokovic aimed towards his box after a forehand return goes array, and then more words after another forehand drifts long.

    Game Nadal.

Superb stuff from Rafael Nadal, working his opponent out wide with a leaping serve before firing a forehand winner in the other direction.

He launches across court to meet a Novak Djokovic return and it steams back beyond the Serb before he can even blink.

I wonder what the two women's finalists are thinking right now because this could go on for an hour or finish in a few minutes. How long will they have to wait?

He was spotted flanked by security guards as he headed into the Wimbledon players area and even broke into a bit of a jog as the crowds started to swarm around him.

I wonder what he's making of the drama unfolding on Centre Court between Djokovic and Nadal?

The 12th seed gets a Hawk-Eye call correct to make it 30-0, only to then drag a cross-court forehand wide.

Nadal frames a return, but it just drops over the net and Djokovic forces him wide before picking off a passing backhand on the volley.

Another good hold, but it's hotting up.

The Anderson v Isner match yesterday smashed the previous record for the longest semi-final at Wimbledon, when Djokovic needed four hours and 44 minutes to beat Juan Martin del Potro in 2013, and this looks look it could also beat that 2013 Centre Court classic.

Four hours 31 minutes so far...
