James: Where’s the “there should be a 5th breaker at Wimbledon” brigade now?

Antoine: No-one wishing there was a tie-break in the 5th set for this game!!

Inch-perfect from Novak Djokovic, whipping a forehand winner into the top corner as Rafael Nadal can only watch on.

Theo: The women’s final is going to seem anticlimactic compared to this superb fare being served up by these two.

    *Nadal 4-6 6-3 6-7 (9-11) 6-3 7-8 Djokovic

This one resumed this afternoon with Novak Djokovic leading two sets to one. More than two hours later and the Serb is 15-30 up on the Rafael Nadal serve after the Spaniard wrapped a forehand into the tape.

Nadal clips the net again, but it carries on down court and he fights his way back into the point before sprinting into the net to slap down a volleyed winner. Just brilliant, from both players.

    30-30.

Wow, just wow... this is getting ridiculous. What tennis from two of the all-time greats. Novak Djokovic gets the better of another lengthy rally that looked to have both players on the ropes.

But he can't hold! Rafal Nadal winds up a mammoth backhand and slings down his 70th winner of the semi-final.

    Deuce.

Magnificent tennis from Novak Djokovic as he picks off Rafael Nadal, but the Spaniard hits straight back with a thumping backhand that the Serb cannot engineer on target.

This is a serious battle of big-hitters, and Djokovic fires in another massive winner, only for Nadal to wrong-foot the 12th seed with a delicate backhand.

    Deuce again.

    Break point number three.
