How do you beat Rafael Nadal over five sets at Roland Garros? Robin Soderling is one of only two men who knows the answer.

The Swede told BBC World Service recently that you have to be "extremely aggressive" - Diego Schwartzman is doing exactly that...

...and it leads to the first break of the match. Chatrier stunned.

Now it is the turn of Diego Schwartzman's serve to creak.

Rafael Nadal takes the Argentine's first service game to deuce, spurning two break points before Schwartzman emerges unscathed.

Twenty minutes for the opening two games between these two - Garbine Muguruza didn't need too much longer to win the entire second set against Maria Sharapova on Chatrier in the previous match.

  12. Evans into quarter-finals of Surbiton Trophypublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 6 June 2018

Great Britain's Dan Evans has moved into the quarter-finals of the Surbiton Trophy in Surrey with a 7-6 (7-4) 6-3 win over Germany's Mats Moraing.

Evans, 28, was as high as 41st in the world rankings in March 2017 before being suspended for 12 months after testing positive for cocaine in April 2017.

His current position in the rankings is 858th, but he will significantly jump up the standings after his win over the world number 153.

Evans, the last British player left in the men's singles in Surrey, will play 37-year-old Jurgen Melzer of Austria, who reached the semi-finals of the French Open back in 2010.

However, Melzer is now ranked 1,245th after three injury-ravaged seasons that have seen him suffer lengthy absences because of serious shoulder, hip and elbow injuries.
