  1. Nishioka takes 'Tipsy' to a deciderpublished at 14:36 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

Speaking of players feeling their age, 35-year-old Janko Tipsarevic might be doing that soon - he has been pegged back by Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka on Court 15, who took the fourth set 7-5.

They have been on court for three hours and 28 minutes as they prepare to start the decider.

The quality of tennis in that set was better but Djokoivc has stepped up a notch. His competitive juices are flowing and that's when he plays his best.

Murray has now switched onto the other side of the net so he’s facing Herbert. He just played a delightful lob over his partner’s head.

His coach Jamie Delgado, just metres in front of me, said “nice shot” as Herbert could only chuckle with a knowing smile on his face.

    Halep 6-4 2-5 Sasnovich

Aliaksandra Sasnovich breaks Simona Halep with a brilliant backhand from wide left just dips over the net.

Are we set for the flippening?

The Belarus world number 36 then holds.

Her team go wild as does the Court One crowd.

    Halep must now hold.

    Lopez 6-4 6-2 6-4 Giron

No sign of Feliciano Lopez feeling his age yet. The 37-year-old Spaniard has picked up where he left off at Queen’s last month, beating Marcos Giron of the Unite States 6-4 6-2 6-4 to book his place in round two.

That break goes to show how there is tension under this ice-cold facade. Djokovic has strong emotions and he sometimes lets it out.

    *Djokovic 6-3 6-5 Kohlschreiber

Hustling, bustling save from Kohlschreiber, who manages to dig out a volley and forces Djokovic to go long with an attempted lob.

But there's the roar... like someone's unleashed a bear on Centre Court. Kohlschreiber misfires and Djokovic bellows in delight. Big break from the world number one.

  14. 'Everything was hyperextended'published at 14:30 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Halep 6-4 2-3 Sasnovich*

    Sasnovich holds again.

Halep is now receiving more treatment from the trainer. It appears it was not just the ankle that was injured in the ninth game of the first set, but frankly the whole of her left leg.

Nine-time champion Martina Navratilova is providing the analysis on the BBC and says "everything was hyperextended".

Novak Djokovic winds up a forehand and executes it to perfection. Textbook winner from the Serb. Philipp Kohlschreiber dances around one of his own, but can only fling it towards the Royal Box... 15-30.

Game, set and match Rybarikovapublished at 14:28 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

    Rybarikova 6-2 6-4 Sabalenka

The first shock of 2019 at SW19 and it is 10th seed Aryna Sabalenka who is sent tumbling by 30-year-old Slovakian Magdalena Rybarikova.

World number 139 Rybarikova reached the semi-finals here in 2017 but lost in the first round on nine of her 10 other visits, so not many people would have seen this one coming.

The crowd are enjoying themselves, it is a sunny afternoon, I'm sure the tickets were not too cheap and they want to see the defending champion being challenged.

Philipp is a good match, a good technical player with good groundstrokes but sometimes he over complicates it. On a good day though he can be a threat to anyone.

  20. Practice makes perfectpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time 1 July 2019

Andy Murray is out on the practice courts. With his back to the onlooking media, every time he turns around he is greeted by the brrrrrrrrr of several camera shutters all going off at once.

After a quick hit on his own, he has now joined up with doubles partner Pierre-Hugues Herbert. Herbert’s backhand looks to be pretty ferocious but as Murray slams one of his own into the net, he cries “RUBBISH”.

He says it with a smile on his face, though. He’s loving it.
