Match point for Fabbiano.
Fabbiano saves two set set points. He now is two points away from dumping seventh seed Stefanos Tsitsipas out. 6-6 in the tie-break in the fourth set, leading two sets to one.
Tsitsipas, aiming to take this match into a decider, wastes his first set point, but still has another one left.
Set point for Tsitsipas, 6-4 up in the tie-break.
Kyle Edmund's opponent has even less pedigree on grass, here or elsewhere.
Jaume Munar is making his first appearance in the main draw at Wimbledon. The world number 90 has played three tournaments on the green stuff in the build-up to SW19, but failed to win a set.
Fabbiano 6-4 3-6 6-4 6-6 Tsitsipas
Over on court two and seventh seed Stefanos Tsitsipas needs to win this ongoing tie-break in the fourth set against Thomas Fabbiano or he is out. Three-two to Tsitsipas in the tie-break is the latest score.
Here comes Kyle Edmund, who emerges on to Centre Court to ripples of applause.
The 24-year-old Yorkshireman does not have much history at SW19 - he lost on this court last year to eventual champion Novak Djokovic, but before then he had won only one match at Wimbledon in six previous visits.
He definitely does not lack confidence, though. Asked if he can win Wimbledon this year, Edmund told BBC Sport “yes, definitely”.

Three-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
I don't think Naomi is very comfortable on grass. You need that intensity and be on it. She just does not look like she's all there.
She's distracted, a lot of things have happened and it seems she has lost her confidence, which is amazing from where she was two or three months ago.
Liverpool fan Edmund told the BBC this week that he is going to take inspiration from the Reds when he is at Wimbledon after being shown around Anfield recently.
I hope by that he doesn’t mean he is going to wait at least 30 years to win the title?
Next up on Centre Court is British number one, Kyle Edmund.
The 30th seed is up against Spain's Jaume Munar - nicknamed 'Jimbo' because his feisty attitude on court is reminiscent of the legendary Jimmy Connors... who was not exactly known for keeping his emotions in check.
So this should be a pretty lively occasion, whatever the outcome.
Putintseva 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 Osaka

Putintseva is one happy lady. Osaka not so much.
It’s a memorable moment for the Kazakh player. She drops her racquet to the floor as victory is sealed, taking a split second to herself as the crowd erupts around her.

The biggest win of Yulia Putintseva's career.
The US Open champion, the Australian champion Naomi Osaka has been beaten here.
You have to feel for Osaka. Grass isn't her surface.
What a day for Putintseva - a day she'll never forget on Centre Court at Wimbledon. She's won three out of three against Osaka now.
Putintseva 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 Osaka
Naomi Osaka, the US Open champion, the Australian Open champion and the world number two is out on day one of Wimbledon.
A huge smile on the face of 24-year-old Yulia Putintseva from Kazakhstan as she seals a 7-6 (7-4) 6-2 victory.
The world number 39 is the one who advances.
One saved, as Osaka's return was deep, Putintseva got her racquet to it but could not steer it back into play.
Two match points for Putintseva.
Putintseva two points from a magical victory.

Naomi Osaka is sat on her chair, just staring into space. How does she turn this around?
Putintseva, knowing she’s oh so close to victory, bounces out of her chair for what could be her final service game. Osaka, meanwhile, drags herself out of hers, looking like she wishes she was anywhere else but here.

Yulia Putintseva is almost there.
She's never been beyond the second round here, yet here she is, on Centre Court and on the verge of knocking out the world number two.
Naomi Osaka looks flat, and that's usually when she feels beaten. That looks likely here.
*Putintseva 7-6 (7-4) 5-2 Osaka
Putintseva with a double break and is now serving for the match. Remember, Naomi Osaka held a 3-1 lead in the opening set. She is on the verge of being knocked out in two.
Sixth seed Alexander Zverev started well enough against Jiri Vesely of the Czech Republic on No.1 Court but he has lost his way badly of late.
The sixth seed took the first set but Vesely, the world number 124, has responded in impressive style. He has just taken the third set to lead 4-6 6-3 6-2 and the momentum is all with him at the moment.
Zverev's coach Ivan Lendl does not look too happy as he watches on from the players' box, but that is nothing new, is it?
