  1. Two break points Kontapublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    *Bogdan 5-7 2-3 Konta

Johanna Konta gets a little lucky as ball off the frame of her racquet drifts in off a crazy angle for 15-30 on the Bogdan serve.

A more conventional shot sends the ball skipping off the service line to hurry Bogdan into a mistake for 15-40 and two break points.

Love the capital letters here - like the order of play is being announced by the Manchester City stadium announcer in a call-and-response style.

Another game safely overcome for Roger Federer. He needs two more for a two sets to one lead.

  6. 'Bogdan making the most of the big stage'published at 15:57 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV

Ana Bogdan is playing well here. She's played long enough to feel like she belongs on the big stage and she's making the most of it.

Johanna Konta wouldn't have wanted to get a qualifier in the first round - because Bogdan has already played three matches to get to this stage - whereas Konta might feel a little rusty.

  8. Konta holdspublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    *Bogdan 5-7 2-3 Konta

    Johanna Konta's backhand is banging.

The British number one is hitting off that wing like she is seeing a beach ball. A beach ball that she hates.

Two ballistic winners on her way to 30-0.

The forehand is a little twitchier - giving Ana Bogdan a look at 40-30.

But a vicious body serve - zeroing in on the Romanian's diaphragm - gets Konta over the line.

  9. Game and second set Clarkepublished at 15:53 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    Clarke 4-6 7-5 Rubin

Britain's Jay Clarke lost the opening set to American Noah Rubin but is now serving for the second... and the 20-year-old takes it 7-5!

Elsewhere, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga is two sets up against Bernard Tomic, while in the women's draw 2017 champion Garbine Muguruza trails Brazil's Beatriz Haddad Maia 6-4 2-1.

Away from the show courts, Eugenie Bouchard's match with Tamara Zidansek is drawing plenty of attention.

I took this photo from through some fencing on a stairwell (trying to be arty...!), just to show you how many people are trying to sneak a peek at the 2014 finalist through the gap behind the umpire's chair. Everyone wants a piece of the action!

Some Hollywood from Lloyd Harris with the inbetweener as he was heading to the baseline, but it only finds Federer waiting at the net, although the South African does go on to take the game.

  14. 'Konta deals with pressure better now'published at 15:50 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV

At the Fed Cup and Davis Cup quite often you see players feel a lot more pressure because they are representing their countries.

It means that when they come back onto the circuit they deal with pressure so much better.

That's what's happened with Johanna Konta in the past few years.

  15. Watch as Federer gets the advantage in the second setpublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    *Harris 6-3 1-6 1-3 Federer

This was when the Lloyd Harris dream start came to a shuddering halt. A break in the second set, with Federer going on to win it 6-1 in 20 minutes.

  16. Konta holdspublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    *Bogdan 5-7 1-2 Konta

Ana Bogdan cannot keep up pressure. Johanna Konta's serve starts to dictate terms and sees her through.

    This is a scrap.

By the way, The Duchess of Cambridge has headed off for the sweets bucket and comfy seats of the Centre Court royal box.

  17. Federer breaks in set threepublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    Harris 6-3 1-6 1-2 Federer*

This match is in danger of slipping away from Lloyd Harris very, very quickly.

Federer holds a break point, a forehand from him lands right on the baseline and Harris can only lift one harmlessly in the air. Federer sprints forward and smashes it away at the net for a third-set break.

  18. Konta saves two break points, deucepublished at 15:47 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

    Bogdan 5-7 1-1 *Konta

Johanna Konta is suddenly looking at 30-40 and break point for Ana Bogdan - it is the Romanian's first of the match.

But she wastes it as he plonks into the net disappointingly.

Some superb scampering defence sets up another as she keeps asking Johanna Konta questions and finally leaves the British number one stumped.

Again Konta scrapes it off the table...

  19. Sharapova enters centre stage (Court Two)published at 15:46 British Summer Time 2 July 2019

Five-time Slam winner and 2004 champ Maria Sharapova is out on Court Two.

The world number 80 is playing French world number 83 Pauline Parmentier.

It's going on serve at the moment.
