Ana Bogdan cuffs into the net on the next point and suddenly Konta is commanding forces and threatening to storm the Romanian's serve citadel.
But a bounce smash long and over-cooked groundstroke sees the pressure seep away like a popped balloon.

The challenge for Harris was always going to be maintaining that sky-high level, especially when Federer started finding his touch and rhythm.
The Swiss maestro is starting to get his groove on, with Harris beginning to get some rushes of blood to the head.

Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TVThat's what I like. The maturity of a pro that knows what she's doing. Johanna Konta made five unforced errors in a row at 5-4 but she didn't let it get her down - she took her opportunity to break Ana Bogdan there.
Overall there wasn't much between the players but Konta did just enough.

It has been a tight first set.
Bogdan won 80% of points behind first serve, Konta scored 77% in the same category.
