Just as I walked onto Aorangi Pavilion, I was deafened by the fans’ screams nearby.
“ANDY! ANDY! ANDY!”
Look to my left and the man of the moment walks out of the clubhouse and into the warm-up area where players can stretch, jog, have massages or just chill on the sofas. He looked almost shy as he gave them a wave.
Murray’s jumped onto an exercise bike to warm up ahead of his practice on court later on.
*Watson 2-1 Kontaveit
A good hold for Anett Kontaveit as Heather Watson can only send her latest return into the bottom of the net.

Conditions are a bit breezy on Court One.
And you’d also say it wasn’t warm. Watson has adapted fastest to it, it seems.

We've already seen an American and a Brit grabbing the mixed doubles headlines with Serena Williams confirming she will play with Andy Murray - and now we've got another intriguing US/GBR pairing.
Cori Gauff - the 15-year-old conqueror of Venus Williams - will team up with Jay Clarke when the mixed doubles competition starts on Thursday.
We should have news of the draw soon.
Meanwhile Gauff is preparing for her second round singles match today with Magdalena Rybarikova, and Clarke has the small matter of eight-time Wimbledon champion Roger Federer to face on Thursday.

This isn't a match Heather Watson is expected to win so that will help with her nerves.
But at the same time she has beaten Anett Kontaveit in the past so she knows how to hurt her.
Puig 0-2 Pliskova*
What a start for third seed Karolina Pliskova!
She breaks Monica Puig in her first service game, then steps up to serve an 116 mph ace.
A fast start by the Czech player...
*Watson 2-0 Kontaveit
A fine service game and after only five minutes of play Heather Watson's lead is at 2-0. Still quite a few empty seats though at the start of this one.

That was a very nervy start by Anett Kontaveit, the 20th seed, with two double faults but Heather Watson will say thank you very much.

Heather Watson's ranking has dipped a little bit recently but what I like about her is that she's such a competitor no matter how well she's playing.
If Heather can get off to a good start on the show court the crowd will get behind her and they'll will her on.
*Watson 1-0 Kontaveit
A great start for the Briton as she gets a break in the opening game of the day on Court One. She is aided by two double faults from the Estonian, the second of which saw her second serve bounce off the tape of the net and out. Watson leads.
Watson 0-0 Kontaveit*
No nerves from Heather this time out. First game out of the traps and she has three break points. 0-40.

Heather Watson's forehand has always been a huge, dangerous weapon for her and she's always been able to end points with it. But we saw in her first match she was just guiding with it but hopefully now she has a win under her belt she'll play with some more confidence.
Heather's got a chance if she plays the way we know she can - aggressively and driving at the ball with that big forehand.
Heather is also an incredible defender so hopefully everything can come together for her and she can win this match.
Watson 0-0 Kontaveit*
Anett Kontaveit to start us off.
...but it had a happy ending as Heather Watson beat Caty McNally.
Last time out, Heather Watson was a bit nervous, serving like this...
Svitolina 5-7 6-5 Gasparyan
As if the end to that match wasn't heartbreaking enough.
Puig v Pliskova
It's almost time for the third day of play to begin on Centre Court.
Eastbourne winner Karolina Pliskova is up first today. The world number three beat reigning Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber in straight sets to win her second Eastbourne title last week.
Pliskova came through the first round here in straight sets against China’s Zhu Lin.
Today, the 27-year-old faces Puerto Rican world number 52 and Olympic champion Monica Puig.
Svitolina 5-7 6-5 Gasparyan

It's important to think long term when it comes to a situation like this.
You don't stay out there and do yourself more damage - it's a disappointing way to leave the court after playing so spectacularly well against the number eight seed.
Chanda Rubin

Getting a win under your belt gives you massive confidence, especially on grass.
Heather Watson will have the crowd with her today and she has had success against Anett Kontaveit in the past.
She has to use her speed and take some risks out there. She has to move forward and attack her opponent.
