Svitolina 5-7 6-5 Gasparyan (ret)
It's over for Margarita Gasparyan, who retires because of that injury.
She goes to her chair in floods of tears. It was a brilliant display and she had Svitolina on the ropes until she injured herself in the 11th game of the second set.
She's getting a standing ovation from the crowd on court three.
Karlovic 3-6 Fabbiano
The 6ft 11 40-year-old legend that is Ivo Karlovic is having a tough time on court 14.
He was broken by Italian Thomas Fabbiano, no easy feat with the Croatian's rapid serving, to go 5-3 down.
World number 89 Fabbiano then held serve to win the first set in 25 minutes.
*Svitolina 5-7 6-5 Gasparyan
Gasparyan barely gets to another Svitolina shot and the Russian is broken.
She receives some treatment, but it doesn't look good for Gasparyan.
Wawrinka 5-7 6-3 6-4 Opelka
Stan Wawrinka has well and truly taken control of his match against American 21-year-old Reilly Opelka.
The Swiss 22nd seed made his opponent work for every hold of serve in that last set and eventually closed it out with a huge serve which Opelka could not return.
Svitolina 5-7 5-5 Gasparyan*
She wins the first point.
But can't get to Svitolina's drop-shot, which is cruel from the Ukrainian, but that is sport guys.
Svitolina 5-7 5-5 Gasparyan*
Margarita Gasparyan is back up, but still in tears.
She is set to continue serving.

Margarita Gasparyan is fighting back the tears here. This is big pain.
This is awful to see. And there's concern on the face of Elina Svitolina, too, she knows what Gasparyan has come through to get here.
Svitolina 5-7 5-5 Gasparyan*
Poor Margarita Gasparyan. The Russian player, who has had three knee operations and has strapping on her leg, winces after landing on that leg after delivering a serve.
This is awful to watch.
Svitolina 5-7 5-5 *Gasparyan
Eighth seed Elina Svitolina is hanging on, just about. Margarita was two points away from round three, but the Ukrainian just about does enough.
*Svitolina 5-7 4-5 Gasparyan
A stunning cross-court backhand winner takes Gasparyan to 15-30 on the Svitolina serve. Two more points for the Russian and it's match over.

Elina Svitolina's on the edge of being knocked out and Margarita Gasparyan is a game away from causing an upset.
*Svitolina 5-7 4-5 Gasparyan
Gasparyan is one game away from the third round of Wimbledon for the first time but needs to break the Svitolina serve to do so.

Good positive body language from Elina Svitolina there. I think she realises she dodged a bullet in that last game.
Svitolina 5-7 4-4 Gasparyan*
She had to save two break points and that would have been curtains for Svitolina. But we remain on serve just about as Gasparyan nets with a backhand. Four-four in the second.
*Wawrinka 5-7 6-3 2-1 Opelka
Reilly Opelka saves break point with a brilliant deep volley at the net. Stan Wawrinka was rushing forward like a shark sensing blood in the water, only to see the ball drop past him and inside the baseline.
Another break chance for Wawrinka from deuce...and this time he has taken it!
He rifles a backhand winner down the line and screams in celebration.
Can Opelka manufacture a way back into this set?
Wawrinka is unfurling that glorious backhand. You can watch here...
*Svitolina 5-7 3-4 Gasparyan
Gasparyan has a break point and would have been serving for the match if she had taken it, but the Svitolina serve is close to the body and the return is then put away with a blistering forehand from the Ukrainian. Deuce.

*Wawrinka 5-7 6-3 0-1 Opelka
Stan Wawrinka wraps up the second set with a hold to 30.
Reilly Opelka has just opened up the third with successive service winners though.
This match feels like it is going to be a long one. An hour and 14 minutes on the clock so far...
*Svitolina 5-7 2-3 Gasparyan

Elina Svitolina knows she really has a fight on her hands here if she's going to stay in these championships.
She has a hard time, especially on the forehand side, creating pace on the ball. We've seen her play aggressively from time to time but it's hard for her on the forehand - she's much better on the backhand side.
