Margie: Sadly I think this is the end of Cori Gauffs singles campaign. Hercog is just too strong & Coco making too many mistakes she did so well getting this far though. Hoping after posting this it will turn around.
Hercog 6-3 3-0 Gauff*
There's a few slumps of the shoulders and shakes of the head creeping in from Gauff now. She hits a return long and Hercog shouts in celebration. It's hard to see how the Slovenian will lose this now.
*Djokovic 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 5-4 Hurkacz
Djoko seems to have switched to 'battery saving mode' but then batters down a forehand winner.
40-30.
Hubi lives to fight another game though as the Serb goes long.
Djokovic is to serve for the match.
Women's eighth-seed Elina Svitolina took three sets to defeat Maria Sakkari and progress to the second week at Wimbledon earlier on Friday.
She now takes on Petra Martic on Monday.

*Hercog 6-3 2-0 Gauff
Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
Gauff hit a great second serve but she seemed to set a little too early and dumped the forehand into the net. What a run Hercog is on!
*Hercog 6-3 2-0 Gauff
Gauff isn't ready for her Centre Court dream to be over yet. She saves the first break point.
But then she drops her racquet after hitting a forehand into the net. It's very difficult to recover from this mentally now. Especially when you're 15.
Djokovic 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 5-3 Hurkacz*
We are approaching three hours here on Court One - should make the three-hour mark, but it might be close.
Game Djokovic as the Serb slaps one home from an approach to the net.
Hercog 6-3 1-0 Gauff*
Hercog is taking her 15-year-old opponent very seriously. A smart move after she beat Venus Williams.
The world number 60 lands a forehand winner perfectly on the line, then Gauff hooks a backhand wide to go 15-30 down.
Another forehand winner and another break point for Hercog.
*Djokovic 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 4-3 Hurkacz
Tim Henman
Former British number one on BBC TV at Wimbledon
One aspect for Kurkacz is the second serve return - he has to change something up and take a risk.
I don't think Djokovic's level is going to drop now so it's up to Hurkacz to make something happen.
*Djokovic 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 4-3 Hurkacz
0-30 before Hubi produces a big serve down the T.
30-30 as Djokovic's slice lands long before Hubi delivers a winner which his opponent opts not to run for.
The Pole holds.
He's got the opening lyrics of Sinatra's My Way in his head.
Hercog 6-3 1-0 Gauff*
Hercog hits a forehand wide. She gives it a check with Hawk Eye but it was definitely out. Deuce.
A solid serve down the middle gets the Slovenian back on track, then Gauff's backhand return lands long and Hercog wins her fifth game in a row.
Will be interesting to see how the American holds up on serve now.
*Hercog 6-3 0-0 Gauff
Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
Losing that set would have hurt but Coco is on her best behaviour. This court demands respect.
*Hercog 6-3 0-0 Gauff
Hercog is on the up just as Gauff is heading downhill. The Slovenian hits a brilliant forehand winner to go 30-0 up.
But wait... then she hits a double fault.
Gauff hits a forehand into the net and that calm facial expression we've seen throughout the first two rounds cracks a bit. There's a hint of a frown there now.
Djokovic 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 4-2 Hurkacz*
John Inverdale
BBC Sport at Wimbledon
Resilient and dogged defence from Hurkacz, but Djokovic always had him there.
Djokovic is in cruise control now.
Djokovic 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 4-2 Hurkacz*
Djoko is doing this on purpose isn't he?
He's coming up with shots that his opponent can make but is made to work hard for.
It's like being placed on a unrelenting bleep test.

Oliver Dewar: Fairly useless at sports and worrying about my GCSE’s. Spending the long summer holidays mostly playing Nintendo.
Hercog 6-3 Gauff
Martina Navratilova
Nine-time Wimbledon singles champion on BBC TV
Coco's ratio has been good in terms of winners and unforced errors before today. But she will need to figure out a way to get the balls in play and make some points.
Hercog has been outstanding. Yes, Coco gave her the last game, but the tennis has been really good from Hercog.
*Djokovic 7-5 6-7 (5-7) 6-1 3-2 Hurkacz
Hubi so wants to get over the line here.
He produces a great shot and then is made to produce another by the seemingly 'unswattable' Djokovic.
He finally puts away his opponent with an ace - his 12th. He would have had more had he not been playing one of the great returners ever.
