    Pliskova v Su-wei Hsieh

One of the tournament favourites and world number three Karolina Pliskova is up next against Su-wei Hsieh on Court 1.

Taiwanese Hsieh, ranked 29th in the world, reached the last 16 for the first time in 2018 and was responsible for knocking out top seed Simona Halep in the third round.

Pliskova, a former world number one, has never gone beyond the last 16 at Wimbledon but is a three-time Grand Slam semi-finalist.

She has had a good warm-up on grass, beating last year's Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber to win Eastbourne a few weeks ago.

    Opelka 6-7 (1-7) 2-6 1-6 Raonic

Milos Raonic is a paltry 6ft 5 next to Reilly Opelka's 6ft 11 but that hasn't stopped the Canadian 15th seed racing to a straight-set victory over his American opponent - who upset Stan Wawrinka in the second round.

Raonic broke Opelka's serve for a second time in the third set and the 21-year-old pretty much folded from there. Raonic closed out the match with an ace after one hour and 41 minutes.

There have been so many fluctuations in this match that I don't think we'll regard this as the decisive breakthrough.

    Boom!

The eighth seed breaks as Maria Sakkari goes wide from the back.

That was her 38th unforced error!!

We've had nine breaks of serve, so don't expect that to be the last.

Who fancies this going to a tie-break post 12s each?

We haven't had one go the new distance have we?

This would be a great scalp for the 23-year-old Greek 31st seed, but she's 0-40 on her serve.

    Hmmm...

    Svitolina 6-3 6-7 (1-7) Sakkari

    David Mercer
    BBC Sport commentator at Wimbledon

It's a beautiful afternoon, it's clouded over a little but the players won't mind that. An ideal day for watching tennis.

This match on paper looked fascinating. Sakkari who wants to attack all the time against Svitolina - the great counter-puncher who gets so many balls back.

The first set fizzled out but the second set had everything.

    Sonia Oxley
    BBC Sport at Wimbledon

British number one Johanna Konta has been putting in a full training session this morning before Saturday’s match against Sloane Stephens.

She spent an hour in the outdoor gym - at one point playing a catching game (a bit like piggy-in-the-middle but obviously more technical!)

She’s now practising some shots but has picked a court that’s a bit far away for a photo (I’ve tried!).

She looks relaxed and has been joking with her team. At one point they were talking about tricky cooking smells that are hard to get rid of in the house.

He's had break points, failed to convert and it seems to be getting to him just a little.
