Actually, it is a little too warm down there for Federer. Top off, back to business.

Not much sun at the moment but, more significantly, all calm down there. Djokovic, as you will remember from a gusty French Open semi-final day, is the sort of player who lets the wind get up him.

Singer Katherine Jenkins has taken her seat in the Royal Box.

Earlier, she was spotted on the balcony overlooking the practice courts taking a quick pic of Novak Djokovic training.

I wonder who she will be rooting for?

Edward Ditchfield: Would love to watch Federer for ever, but sadly the era of Roger, Rafa, and Novak IS drawing to an end, and this is probably his last big chance to add to his tally. Heart is with Roger; sadly, head says Novak.

Daniel Brown: Definitely in Federer's corner today. Let's hope that proves to be better luck for Roger today than it proved to be for Serena yesterday!

    Nah: Im ready!

Time for a knock up. Federer keeps on his tracky top, while Djokovic strips off and goes straight into business attire.

Such an underestimated but important part of the final here is how you feed off the Centre Court crowd.

That's how the tide can quickly turn from one player to the other.

Can Roger find that magic from Friday?

Palms clapped hard, cameras clicking... the two protagonists have arrived.

Federer, headband and tracksuit top, looks like Daniel 'Karate Kid' LaRusso.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have just taken their seats in the Royal Box.

"Look! There's Wills and Kate!" someone sat in front of me shouts. A ripple of applause sounds from around Centre Court, with others giving a standing ovation.

Also sitting in the Royal Box today, in addition to a number of former tennis pros - Wimbledon royalty, if you like - are actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, and opera singer Katherine Jenkins.

I do believe Roger Federer is going to need to play one of the performances of his life to beat Novak Djokovic today.

He needs to keep the points short, otherwise Novak will dominate this match. Nadal allowed Federer the opportunity to dictate the points. That doesn't happen against Novak Djokovic. He's one of the best returners we've ever had.

    Blazers. Cardigans. Man bag.

Federer has busted out some strong looks on finals day over the years.

What has he plucked out of his wardrobe this morning? Something sartorially spectacular?

You know, it could be his last walk out on the SW19 catwalk on a final Sunday...

Although it feels like deja vu seeing these two going head to head at Wimbledon, they have not bumped into each other in SW19 - unless they have exchanged hellos in an espresso bar on the High Street - since the 2015 final.

Djokovic's victory over Roberto Bautista Agut ensured it would the first final here between the two of the 'Big Three' since that meeting.

And Novak will be hoping it be equally as easy as his three-set swatting of Rafa Nadal in Melbourne six months ago...

Yep, the race for GOATness is one of a number of subplots here.

A fifth Wimbledon triumph for Djokovic, who won the 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2018 titles, would take him closer than he has ever been to Federer's tally.

Almost six years younger than Federer, Djokovic could add plenty more barring a loss of form or fitness.

His pursuit of Federer and Nadal is made more remarkable by the fact he won his first major in 2008 - when Federer had claimed 13 and Nadal five - and only added a second three years later.

Alex Bull: Massively important match for the Grand Slam race - Roger wins and I don't think he's being caught, Novak wins and the door is left open for both Novak and Rafa. 20-18-16 a lot different to 21-18-15.

Abinash Das: Though the stats from 2015 might be in Djokovic favour, however, I feel grass might assist Federer to give a tough fight to Djokovic. Fedex needs to wrap up the match in four sets as Djokovic fitness would be an advantage in the fifth set.

'Djokovic is a vegan' was actually chalked on to a SW19 pavement earlier this week, bringing an added boost to the ever-popular lifestyle choice.

However, the Serb was quick to play it down when asked about the graffiti, saying he "doesn't like labels".

"I do eat plant based for quite a few years already. But because of the misinterpretations of labels and misuse of labels, I just don't like that kind of name, so to say."

I'm sure he wouldn't mind being labelled the 'GOAT'...

Novak Djokovic's form is based on his mobility and fitness.

For him, he had to change his diet. He was completely vegan at one point, he's not so much anymore, but he's always looking for the extra to be a little fitter, a little sharper, a little bit different.

Roger is the most popular sports guy and Rafa is not so far behind. Novak is not Roger or Rafa.

Reza Ahmadian: Today is what I call a #SuperSunday. #WimbledonFinal, #BritishGP2019 and #TourdeFrance. It’s very difficult to decide what to watch. It will be The Swiss Maestro vs Nole for me.

Nebojsa Radenovic‏: The clash of two modern gladiators in front of the stadium and the world. Can't wait. Let's sit back and enjoy this thrilling entertainment..

A hum of excitement is hovering around Centre Court as those lucky enough to bag a ticket file in. The tennis equivalent of a golden pass to Willy Wonka's factory.

Camera phones primed, Pimms being sipped, excited wide eyes everywhere.

All we're waiting for is the Royal Box to fill and the line judges/ball boys to file in.

Oh, and two blokes called Roger and Novak.
