Philip West: If Federer is going to win this title, he’ll have serve like never before, try to keep the points short, and try and keep Djokovic off balance with slices. If it turns into a slugfest from the baseline, Djokovic will win.
Vinod: Usually I’m a huge Novak fan but this year Federer is looking better. Records and rankings don’t matter much! On the day of the game, the best player wins. We hope there’ll be a great match!
Djokovic v Federer
Both players have eased off the joints and knocked out any kinks from their game in morning practice sessions.
I suspect both with have gone easy in anticipation of a match that could be a long-distance trip...

Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is among those at Wimbledon today and has been speaking on Radio 5 Live Sports Extra:
"It's the first time for me here and I'm very excited. The final is a top one with two amazing players so I'm looking forward to it.
"I watch a lot of tennis, I saw the semi-final with Roger and Rafa and watched with some of the Spanish boys who were cheering Rafa and I was cheering Roger.
"I think it is going to be quite special. I think it's very nice to be this close and to see everything. I'm so excited. Both are amazing players with their own qualities. If Roger wins maybe he might stop soon so Novak will have the chance to win some more."
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrive at Wimbledon...
...and the newly crowned queen of Centre Court, Simona Halep, is not far behind.

Defending champion? Top seed? World number one? Tournament favourite?
Novak Djokovic had all the same credentials that he does today, when he came into the 2012 Wimbledon semi-final against Roger Federer.
But he was dispatched 6-3 3-6 6-4 6-3 by the Swiss.
Who then went on to make Andy Murray cry on Centre Court in the final. What a cad.
This is a prime example of Novak 'The Wall' Djokovic in action.
How does Roger handle this?

Meet Raashid and Shreya. Can you tell who they are supporting today?
They are MASSIVE Roger Federer fans, and have tickets for today’s final after seven years of trying.
“He’s just amazing. His brand of tennis is effortless,” they say.
“If you had to design the perfect tennis player, you would design Roger from scratch.”
We had a look at the incredible global devotion that Roger Federer inspires back in 2015. Safe to say he is still as popular as ever.

Boris Becker
Three-time Wimbledon champion on BBC TV
Being in the the top three, Roger and Novak obviously play a lot during the years but they'll remember the last time they faced each other here.
Players play a lot harder at Wimbledon. Their head-to-head record here will mean more to them than anywhere.

Not a bad spot for a bit of band practice...
These musicians will be as proud as the Grimley Colliery Band in the Royal Albert Hall when they take Centre stage later.
Can't spot Ewan McGregor down there.
Djokovic v Federer
Novak Djokovic had been without a Grand Slam title for 18 months when he strode on court for the 2014 Wimbledon final.
Federer had last tasted big-four success at Wimbledon in 2012.
It was the younger man who prevailed 6-7 (7-9) 6-4 7-6 (7-4) 5-7 6-4 as Djokovic let championship point slip in the fourth set before getting the job done in five.
He then headed into the stands to celebrate with then-coach Boris Becker.

What a set up!
Today's tennis menu, see anything you fancy?
Djokovic v Federer
These two have met at Wimbledon three times previously, most recently in two finals.
Back in 2015, Novak Djokovic added some Centre Court grass to his diet of donkey cheese and kale , externalas he came on strong to win 7-6 (7-1) 6-7 (10-12) 6-4 6-3.
"I had my chances in the first set. I got lucky to win the second, had chances in the third," said a rather rueful Federer.
"But he was better on the bigger points. He was rock solid, I didn't play badly myself. That's how it goes."
Meanwhile Novak Djokovic was getting his boogy on at the Champions Dinner.
There's already been a Wimbledon title won today with Dutch pair Aniek van Koot and Diede de Groot securing the women's wheelchair doubles.
They beat compatriot Marjolein Buis and Italy's Giulia Capocci 6-1 6-1 in one hour and three minutes.
Van Koot (below, right) defeated De Groot in the wheelchair singles final on Saturday.
Asked about her twin success, Van Koot said: "Who would have imagined that? I never would. It's been a wonderful weekend."
