Let's take you to Louis Armstrong first where Greek eighth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas is not having the best time of it - he's a set and was a break down to Russian world number 43 Andrey Rublev.

It's now 4-4 and going on serve.

Wimbers semi-finalist and seemingly all-around nice guy Roberto Bautista-Agut is 1-1 all against Kazakh Mikhail Kukushkin.

On Grandstand Alison Riske, who got to the SW19 quarters, is a set down to Spanish Grand Slam winner Garbine Muguruza - though she is a break up in the second.

    Osaka 0-2 Blinkova*

Hmm, Blinkova moves into the net and Osaka misses the pass. Two break points!

The Russian only needs one, aggressively returning a forehand to move 2-0 up. Work to do for the defending champ...

Naomi Osaka puts pressure on Anna Blinkova's serve in the opening game, taking her to deuce.

As you walk in the south gate at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center, with Ashe looming in front and the iconic Unisphere behind, you are greeted by the 'Court of Champions'.

This is a modernist concrete wall with the images of 25 of the sport's greatest players, including Arthur Ashe himself, inducted by the USTA.

Naomi Osaka isn't on there. Yet. But the defending champion's name has, of course, been etched into the bronze roll of honour on the next wall.

    Now then.

World number one Osaka is first up - the holder and Aussie Open champ - hasn't actually appeared in a final since Melbourne!!!

Anyway, she recently suffered a knee injury that forced her to retire with a knee injury during the last-eight stage in Cincinnati.

    So Naomi, how goes it?

"It's getting better. I have been playing more, [and] longer every day," Osaka said about her injury. "It's feeling better. Luckily I'm a fast healer, so I think it's looking good."
