Gerard Boyd: Konta plays a very high power aggressive game but there is a risk there for unforced errors. It's not to do with 'bottle' as some claim.

Konta means business here. It's do or die for her.

Andrew Morris: I'm getting Tim Henman-esque vibes from Konta. Good enough to get to the pointy end of most Slams but just missing that little bit that makes true champions a la Serena, Venus, Murray, Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, etc.

Peter Hutson-Jones: Whatever happens Jo Konta should be praised for a fantastic, consistent season. Real progress- the margins at the highest levels of the sport are so small. She has done brilliantly.

Jack Bedlam: Jo Konta is such a difficult watch - the way she can go from genius to I just picked up a racket yesterday, in the space of one service game.

Dennis Ethan: Quite an erratic match this, lots of unforced errors.

Konta just doesn't seem to have the mental strength to win a slam. I'd like to be proved wrong... but not sure I will.
