    Murray 2-6 3-6 2-1 Auger-Aliassime*

Hello again! Ready for the next three sets? What?!

Murray claws his way back to 30-30 and then successfully challenges when his first serve is called out. Muzza is not happy with the line judge as he has to play a let - but the ball only just kissed the line. The line judge very reasonably tells Murray he has to make a decision. The Scot gets to 40-30 but an errant backhand brings us to deuce.

Still on serve in this third set. Murray is pushed to deuce but is let off the hook as FAA makes two mistakes in a row.

Honestly, he does! One off either side.

    *Murray 2-6 3-6 1-1 Auger-Aliassime

No let up from FAA, who races through his own service game - and then has Murray at 0-30 as the Briton serves. Danger time...

    Murray 2-6 3-6 1-0 Auger-Aliassime*

Quick hold to 15 for Murray to get us under way in the third set.

The Murray comeback starts now (add grimacing emoji) so I hand you back to Jonathan Jurejko, who will take you through to the end.

  5. Game and second set Auger-Aliassimepublished at 03:47 British Summer Time 4 September 2020

    *Murray 2-6 3-6 Auger-Aliassime

Auger-Aliassime plays the best shot of the match, killing a volley dead to bring up set point.

He serves an ace to go 2-0 up.

    Cold from FAA.

You can hear Andy remonstrating with himself. You can hear him shout 'Hit it!'. He's so annoyed with himself.

You felt he was starting to cause some pressure and create some doubt and then a couple of loose shots in that game and it allows Auger-Aliassime to serve for the set.

  7. Auger-Aliassime breakspublished at 03:45 British Summer Time 4 September 2020

    Murray 2-6 3-5 Auger-Aliassime*

Murray is broken following an error on his backhand.

He remonstrates with himself. Hopefully that will help, because nothing much else is.

It's looking a tough ask as Murray finds the net after another - less exhausting - rally.

  9. Postpublished at 03:42 British Summer Time 4 September 2020

    *Murray 2-6 3-4 Auger-Aliassime

Murray looks superb in the next point - a long rally where the Brit changes the pace with slice, but sadly for him FAA reads his intentions before sending a forehand flying past.

    30-15.

    30-30.

    Murray really needs to hold.

There seems to be a permanent frown on Felix Auger-Aliassime's brow. That's how much concentration he is putting in.

While the cord helped FAA on his second serve, it opts to send Murray's flying wide.

    0-15.

    15-15.

It is a big hold for Felix Auger-Aliassime. Really the first time Andy has got that scoreboard pressure. We saw a bit of a wobble from Auger-Aliassime and Andy's reputation will be there in the back of his head.

If he can sow those seeds of doubt, Andy is starting to do that, he'll get an opportunity. He is knocking on the door now is Andy.

    *Murray 2-6 3-4 Auger-Aliassime

FAA manages to hold, but that was arguably his biggest test so far. He was helped by a great deal of lady luck.

    What has Murray got left?

    Murray 2-6 3-3 Auger-Aliassime*

0-15 before FAA receives a huge dollop of good fortune as a wayward second serve hits the cord and bounces in.

The Canadian is let off the hook again as Murray slaps a makeable volley into the net. The Scot then makes his 10th unforced error with a forehand that really should have been good.

    30-15.

That's excellent from Andy, really good sign. A positive service hold.

Those fan screens just look like people trapped - reminds me of Superman II... you know... General Zod and his lot...

Anyway, Murray surges to 30-0 as FAA makes two errors from the back of the court. He then goes long again.

The Briton seals by coming midway towards the net before swatting away a forehand winner.

    *Murray 2-6 2-3 Auger-Aliassime

It's always been hard to tell if Murray's struggling physically. He looks to be moving around gingerly, but it just could be the Briton just doing what he does.

40-30 before the 20-year-old Canadian fires down an unstoppable ace - his 11th of the match so far.

  18. Postpublished at 03:27 British Summer Time 4 September 2020

    Murray 2-6 2-2 Auger-Aliassime*

Murray hauls the game back in his favour at 30-15 but then fails in his attempt with an angled volley at the net.

The Scot eventually seals the game when his opponent's attempt at a slice falls well short.

Time for Murray to play the ball low to FAA's feet?

  19. Postpublished at 03:24 British Summer Time 4 September 2020

    *Murray 2-6 1-2 Auger-Aliassime

FAA defends Murray's first serve then sends his foe to the corner before delivering another epic smash winner.

    0-15.

The 20-year-old shuttle runs from one side of the court to the other, like he's competing with Murray in a beep test, before sending a forehand down the line and past the reach of the Briton.

This is a little cruel so far.
