Federer has not found his range so far at all.
Khachanov 4-6 6-3 7-5 1-6 4-6 Shapovalov
Here's what Denis Shapovalov had to say following his victory: "I have to thank you guys. There was so many time I though Karen [Khachanov] was playing too good but you guys kept me going. Thank you so much.
"It was super tough, especially not converting 0-40 in the fifth set. I told myself play every point as hard as you can in the fifth. Luck was a bit on my side but it was also a great week from Karen, we both deserved it today.
On facing Novak Djokovic for a place in the Wimbledon final: "Obviously he's the best player in the world but I think anything is possible. When you look at the scoreboard first thing it will be 0-0.
"Nothing else matters. Its a tennis match and it can go either way. I have full belief in myself and my team. Anything is possible."
*Federer 2-5 Hurkacz
Some unforced errors from Federer, sending a forehand wide and a backhand long and Hurkacz backs up the break by holding in the seventh.
He's one game away from the first set and he's done a good job of silencing the Federer fans, of which there are thousands.

A few interesting decisions by Federer in that last service game that didn't go his way. He's not quite firing on all cylinders just yet.
"Come on the King of Centre," someone shouts up behind me, to a few giggles.
Federer 2-4 Hurkacz*
At 6ft 5in, Hurkacz is a tough man to clear, Federer tries that when trying to fend off a break point, but Hurkacz slams it away for the break in the sixth game of set one.
Hurkacz had three break points on the Federer serve not too long ago, he's got another one now, 30-40.
*Federer 2-3 Hurkacz
A brilliant two-handed backhand passing shot from Hurkacz on the baseline gives him the opening point on the sixth game, with Federer serving. 0-15.
*Federer 2-3 Hurkacz
No emotional damage from Hurkacz after failing to take any of those three break points in the last game and he's quickly reset himself, taking the next service game to love.

You dream about this. Now he gets to play Novak Djokovic but he won't be thinking about that.
This is the biggest win of his career. He got over the disappoointing third set and dominated the last two sets.
Khachanov had too many five-setters and full marks to Shapovalov who was the better player.

Hubert Hurkacz might be a little miffed he let that one slip.
He hasn't got much support on Centre Crowd, the shouts for Roger Federer hugely overwhelming the solitary one I've heard for the Pole.
Federer 2-2 Hurkacz*
We're still on serve as Federer, aided by some brilliant forehand work, leaves us all square. Will those missed chances cost his opponent?
Three chances for Hurkacz, but they've all evaporated after two brilliant forehands pulled away from Federer, with Hurkacz sending a rising forehand into the net in between those two shots. Deuce.
Khachanov 4-6 6-3 7-5 1-6 4-6 Shapovalov
A double fault won't help Shapovalov's nerves. 15-15.

*Federer 1-2 Hurkacz
Hubert Hurkacz is going to need a strong serving game if he is to knock Federer out and he's providing it so far.
He's won eight of the nine points when he's got his first serve in and that's his second hold.
