A must-win service game now for Felix Auger Aliassime.

Matteo Berrettini gets lucky as a forehand trips over the net and the Canadian can't adjust. 15-30.

That is just a brutal service game from Berrettini, and that is what he does best. And he seems to be back to his best.

    Berrettini 6-3 5-7 7-5 4-1 Auger-Aliassime*

Matteo Berrettini certainly has his eye in. Firing down a series of rockets to get to 40-0 and finishing off the love hold with a snappy forehand winner from mid-court.

    *Berrettini 6-3 5-7 7-5 3-1 Auger-Aliassime

Good from Felix Auger Aliassime. He keeps his nerve and edges to a hold to get on the board in the fourth set.

    Berrettini 6-3 5-7 7-5 3-0 Auger-Aliassime*

Felix Auger Aliassime needs to hold here or his Wimbledon campaign will be all but over. The 20-year-old generates some nice depth to get to 30-0 but then miscues, although had he challenged that may have been good! And he then throws down a double fault...

    Berrettini 6-3 5-7 7-5 3-0 Auger-Aliassime*

The baseball-capped Italian is striding around with real purpose now, slinging a winner down the line and fist-pumping on his return to the baseline. Felix Auger Aliassime isn't ready to go away just yet though, he responds with a series of well-placed groundstrokes that prove awkward and that's 30-30.

Matteo Berrettini comes up with some huge power on serve and his Canadian opponent flings a backhand long as the seventh seed holds to back up his break.

Britons Harriet Dart and Joe Salisbury are through to the mixed doubles quarter-finals after victory over Austrian Oliver Marach and Lyudmyla Kichenok of Ukraine.

They will play fellow Briton Naomi Broady and French partner Jeremy Chardy in the last eight.

It's been a particularly satisfying day at Wimbledon for Salisbury who reached the quarter-finals in the men's doubles with American partner Rajeev Ram earlier in the day.

Berrettini has the break at the start of the fourth set and Auger-Aliassime rather looks like a beaten man, but there is still a long, long way to go.

    Andrew Cotter
    BBC Sport commentator

I think Felix Auger-Aliassime just wondering how that set ran away from him at the end. He was in such a grand position and in such good form in that set.

It was not as if his level dipped that much - Berrettini took it.

    Berrettini 6-3 5-7 7-5 Auger-Aliassime

So close! It's an enthralling, energy-sapping rally and Felix Auger Aliassime looks for a down-the-line winner, but leaks it just wide. Matteo Berrettini takes the third set!

Who'll crack first in this set? Matteo Berrettini nudges his nose in front but cannot handle the pace on a fierce Felix Auger Aliassime serve. But now a huge chance for the Italian... a pacy forehand that rattles the strings of the Canadian and brings up two set points.
