I genuinely do think Evans is going to be feeling this physically. The nerves and tension contribute to how he is feeling and this match has been intense. They are both desperate to win, know each other's games so well and there is so much on the line.

If Evans' legs are tiring, Norrie will be happy to keep giving him the run around on those long rallies. He gets Evans moving again and slams down an overhead volley to win the point, with his opponent almost crashing into the advertising hoardings. Evans is good for the next one though, 15-30.

  19. Scope to change Slam format?published at 08:59 Greenwich Mean Time 9 February 2021

    Evans 4-6 6-4 4-6 3-2 Norrie*

    Russell Fuller
BBC tennis correspondent on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

I think Grand Slams could be changed to best-of-three sets in the first week, best-of-five in the second week, for the men and the women.

The only parallel I could perhaps make is the World Snooker Championships where they play first-to 10 frames in the first week and then first-to-18 in the final.

The tennis players should be able to adjust. Although there are obviously physical differences between the two sports...
