Maybe those matches he played last week are catching up with him.

Norrie slices long and Evans hollers in celebration once more, and this time he holds as the British number three rattles the tape with a forehand.

The Briton is growing in confidence on her debut and another hold now would really give her some momentum.

The roars are becoming more frequent from Dan Evans, he saves the break point and then thunders into the net to volley a winner beyond Cam Norrie, backing it up with an intense stare and fist pump.

You can see how much that meant to Dan Evans.
Looks like Ash Barty's year out has had next to no impact on the world number one.
After just 19 minutes, she has taken the first set over Montenegro's Danka Kovinic by an utterly dominant 6-0 scoreline.
The Aussie made just two (two!) unforced errors and dropped just four points as she demolished Kovinic in the opening set.

She's ranked 245 in the world and is up against American world number 57 Shelby Rogers.
