Evans 4-6 6-4 4-6 Norrie
Evans saves the first. One more for Cam Norrie to take a 2-1 sets lead... and he does!
The British number three reestablishes his lead.
Evans 4-6 6-4 4-5 Norrie*
Good hustle from Evans, playing towards the body of Norrie and the British number three can only engineer an awkward backhand into the depths of the net.
He has Evans on the run with his next serve, though, and that's two set points...
Evans 4-6 6-4 4-5 Norrie*
Long, tentative exchange but on the 15th shot Dan Evans clumps a forehand long. Cameron Norrie comes gliding towards the net off the next, but catches the tape and Evans lobs it over his fellow Brit's head. Norrie spins and slaps down a winner. 30-0.

On the plus side for Dan Evans, his last few service games have been more straightforward. That should give him a bit more confidence. It'll be interesting to see if Norrie gets tight as he serves for this third set.
Evans 4-6 6-4 4-5 Norrie*
A quick hold to love for Dan Evans, but he needs to break now if he is going to stop Cameron Norrie taking the third set.
*Evans 4-6 6-4 3-5 Norrie
Dan Evans slices long on the backhand side. That's his 40th unforced error of the match, to Cam Norrie's 19. The British number three holds serve and is one game away from taking the third set.

It is a straightforward game plan for Cameron Norrie. He knows what he needs to do and he's been by far the calmer of the two.
Evans 4-6 6-4 3-4 Norrie*
Norrie tickles a volley into the space left behind by a charging Evans, who then dices long from behind the baseline. 30-0.

Every time a point is won on either side of the net, they are letting you know how they feel about it.
Evans 4-6 6-4 3-4 Norrie*
Cameron Norrie hangs an arm in the air, seemingly bemused by how a backhand dropped wide.
Dan Evans seizes the initiative to edge to 40-15 and then watches a Norrie return skip long to hold.
*Evans 4-6 6-4 2-4 Norrie
Another big hold for Cameron Norrie to consolidate his earlier break.
Evans 4-6 6-4 2-3 Norrie*
Dan Evans is up no the grunt o'meter but leaks a forehand into the tramlines.
He squeezes the angle for Cam Norrie by coming to the net on the next point, but Norrie finds a gap down the line and picks it out with a superb backhand. 40-15.
Evans 4-6 6-4 2-3 Norrie*
The slightest hint of a fist pump from Cameron Norrie after a volleyed winner, that's about as emotional as he's got in this first-round tussle. 15-15.

Francesca Jones is as bright as a button and she'll be a joy for you guys to interview in the years to come. She loves to talk! She's got a very big personality. She's super intelligent and really believes in herself. She'll be someone who maximises her talents.
Jones v Rogers
Britain's Francesca Jones is about to make her Grand Slam main-draw debut against American Shelby Rogers. Jones, ranked 245th, earned her place in Melbourne by winning three qualifying matches in Dubai last month.
The 20-year-old has a rare genetic condition called ectrodactyly ectodermal dysplasia syndrome, which means she was born with three fingers and a thumb on each hand, three toes on her right foot and four toes on her left.
Jones was told she would never play professional tennis but she has defied doctors, competing with a light racquet and very small grip to increase her control.
Evans 4-6 6-4 2-3 Norrie*
Dan Evans digs in and edges to 40-0. An unusually seamless service game for the British number one.
He's been broken twice this match and taken to deuce on plenty of others. He holds to 15.

This is nervy now for Dan Evans. He's facing a player who always seems to rise the occasion, and who has now won nine points on the trot.
Jones v Rogers
Francesca Jones' opening round match against Shelby Rogers has been moved to Court 10, which means it should be getting under way shortly.
*Evans 4-6 6-4 1-3 Norrie
And Norrie holds to love, polishing it off with a cute drop volley with Evans stranded beyond the baseline.
