    *Thiem 4-6 4-6 6-3 2-3 Kyrgios

Thiem pulls a forehand to the left from way beyond the baseline and that gives Kyrgios the game. A mild celebration, a gentle fist pump, is seen from the Australian. That's quite tame compared to what we have seen so far in this match.

Kyrgios with a 2-1 lead in sets and a 3-2 lead in the fourth, although we are still on serve. All it takes is a break now and he will be in a wonderful position.

The Thiem serve has been flawless in this set so far though.

Nick Kyrgios is having to use up all his energy to hold on to his service games, but can't make a dent on the Thiem serve. The Austrian storms through game four and he's not dropped a point on serve so far in the fourth set.

Zach Kingsbury: As if Kyrgios underarm served on set point The absolute disrespect. Unreal.

Matt Jones: Nick Kyrgios shouldn’t be allowed to make a penny from tennis and not allowed near a pro tournament - how is he still here?

Iwan Williams: Love him or hate him, Krygios is absolute box office. People would pay a lot more to see him than some of the top 20 players.

That 10-minute game has been followed by two lightning quick ones. Every point that Kyrgios wins, even a straight-forward one, gets a huge cheer from the crowd.

They know their man needs them.

Kyrgios gets that game in the books thanks to a volley at the net.

  7. Djokovic in actionpublished at 10:33 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2021

    Djokovic 6-5 Fritz

It feels like all eyes are on Nick Kyrgios, but world number one and two-time defending champ Novak Djokovic is in action.

He did have an early break over America's Taylor Fritz but, from a 5-2 lead, the Serb has been dragged back to 6-5. Tie-break incoming?

This is where I wonder how much training Kyrgios has done in the last year, and how much time has been spent in the gym. There doesn't look to be much left in the legs.

A 10-minute game followed by a one-minute hold to love by Thiem.

  11. Kyrgios saves two break points to holdpublished at 10:28 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2021

    *Thiem 4-6 4-6 6-3 0-1 Kyrgios

An underarm serve from Kyrgios, I think that's the fourth of the match, but the point goes against the Australian as he then sends his next shot long.

But, after six deuces and an incredible game of 10 minutes, Kyrgios gets the job done and the crowd, who didn't have much to sing about in the third set, are back on their feet and in good voice again.

An incredible atmosphere. Sadly, it is going to be missed for at least five days but let's hope the mini lockdown, which comes in in two and a half hours' time, has the desired effect and fans are back in the stands next Thursday.

A second break point for Thiem, but the Kyrgios serve gets him out of the hole.

It is so important for Kyrgios to start this set off well. There is not a lot of knee bend going on.

    Thiem 4-6 4-6 6-3 0-0 Kyrgios*

Kyrgios won the first few points of the fourth set, but it then goes against him. We're up to seven minutes in an epic game. Deuce. Kyrgios is shouting at the umpire, shouting at the crowd, shouting at himself.

Meanwhile, Thiem is super calm and composed, surely smiling (on the inside at least).

Break point for Thiem. Saved by Kyrgios thanks to some cross-court brilliance.

Dominic Thiem is doing a little more looking around at the crowd now. His head is held a little higher.

Can Kyrgios wipe that third set from his mind and instead return to the opening two set brilliance we saw earlier on?

  17. 'Intensity wasn't there'published at 10:15 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2021

    Thiem 4-6 4-6 6-3 Kyrgios

    Miles Maclagan
Former British Davis Cup player on BBC Radio 5 Live Sports Extra

The energy and the fitness as well for Kyrgios are a concern. There were signs that the intesnity wasn't there. You can't cheat that and you can't bluff it, no matter what the crowd do. Kyrgios will have to drag more and more out of himself.

  18. Game and third set - Thiempublished at 10:15 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2021

    Thiem 4-6 4-6 6-3 Kyrgios

We have a match on. Dominic Thiem was two sets down and had to save two break points in the opening game of the third set, but the Austrian then storms through that.

Kyrgios made 10 unforced errors in that set and showed signs that he was struggling.

The Australian leads two sets to one, but the crowd have gone quiet, and that's a great sound for the world number three.

    Thiem 4-6 4-6 5-3 Kyrgios

A racquet chucked to the ground is a sign things are no longer going Kyrgios' way. Can he regain the composure or is this the start of it all going wrong?

Dominic Thiem must be loving seeing this, he knows he is regaining control of this one. Three set points.

  20. Postpublished at 10:10 Greenwich Mean Time 12 February 2021

They're racing through this, maybe saving their energy for the dramas to come. Another hold to love, this time from Kyrgios. Fifty-six seconds is all that game lasts. That's one second slower than his previous service hold a couple of games again.
