Ha! Classic Kyrgios antics are back at Wimbledon.

The Australian throws in an underarm between-the-legs serve to try and catch Jubb out, but the Briton is on to it in a flash.

He pops over a drop shot and Kyrgios hits long on the run. That one may have backfired slightly, but the crowd certainly appreciated the effort.

    Kartal 2-1 Pattinama Kerkhove*

Great Britain's Sonay Kartal has just got going against Lesley Pattinama Kerkhove on Court 16.

She was an early break up but the Dutchwoman, who is a lucky loser after Danka Kovinic withdrew earlier today, has hit straight back.

Kartal is one of four Britons making their Wimbledon debut this year, having had her career held up by injury.

However, she won six of the first nine tournametns she played in on her return to tennis and earned a maiden call-up to Great Britain's Bille Jean King Cup squad earlier this year.

What a day this is proving to be for Ryan Peniston. If he holds his serve from here on in he will be in the second round of a Grand Slam.

He's got two sets in the bag and now has a break advantage in the third. Three more holds of serve for Peniston and his debut appearance in the Wimbledon singles will continue.

    *Kostyuk 4-6 6-4 1-0 Swan

Katie Swan is into a decider with Marta Kostyuk, but she's visibly struggling with what appears to be a left thigh issue.

Swan's had the thigh heavily strapped since she started and both the trainer and the doctor have been out to see her.

She's just been broken in her opening service game of the third set by the Ukrainian.

  13. Dimitrov's withdrawal opens up Norrie's drawpublished at 12:47 British Summer Time 28 June 2022

While nobody wants to see a player retire injured, Grigor Dimitrov going out of the men's draw will be interesting to Cameron Norrie.

The British number one was drawn in the same section as 18th seed Dimitrov, who reached the 2014 semi-finals and also beat him at Queen's a fortnight ago.

Norrie is the ninth seed this fortnight but, despite his meteoric rise over the past couple of years, has still not gone past the third round of a Grand Slam.

A couple of blokes called Nadal and Federer have been third-round opponents at recent Slams.

Now Dimitrov's withdrawal opens up the draw for the 26-year-old left-hander, who also saw seventh seed Hubert Hurkacz disappear from his quarter yesterday.

Ryan Peniston, in his opening singles match at a Grand Slam after losing in the first round of the Wimbledon men's doubles last year, is knocking on the door for what could be the decisive break of the match.

He's had two break point chances in the fourth game of the third set, but Henri Laaksonen has defended them well. We're at a sixth deuce.

We're on serve in the third set with Britain's Ryan Peniston two sets up.

Before the tournament started, Peniston spoke to BBC Look East about his incredible journey. He beat cancer as a baby and was given a wildcard entry at this year's championships.

Peniston, 26, from Great Wakering near Southend in Essex, said he had been dreaming of playing at Wimbledon since he was a child.

"It's amazing, I can't really put it into the words the feeling of being here," he said. "I don't have much memory of going through cancer... but it was a really tough time for my parents... and I'm just very grateful to be sitting here right now at Wimbledon."

It was a smooth opening match for Greek fifth seed Maria Sakkari on court three.

Sakkari beat Australia's Zoe Hives in straight sets in one hour and 18 minutes as she looks to progress beyond the third round for the first time.

The 26-year-old, a semi-finalist at last year's French Open and US Open, broke qualifier Hives' serve at the first opportunity during a dominant first-set display.

Sakkari raced into a 4-1 lead in the second, and while Hives battled back to trail 5-4, the world number five won the following game to secure her spot in the second round where she will face either Daria Saville or Viktoriya Tomova.
