Gray 3-6 Fritz
It's the first set to the American, but the 11th seeded Taylor Fritz has really had to work hard to get it done.
Alastair Gray had six break point chances, including two in the ninth game, but could not take any of them and finds himself a set behind.
Ram/Salisbury 6-3 Altmaier/Taberner
So far so good for Joe Salisbury and Rajeev Ram as they take the first set.
The pair's service game has been strong so far, winning 75% of their points on first serve and hitting three aces compared to 58% and none for Carlos Taberner and Daniel Altmaier.
Gray 3-5 Fritz*
Alastair Gray, who beat world number 95 Tseng Chun-hsin of Chinese Taipei in the first round, gets his third game on the board and needs to break Fritz's serve to stay in the set.
And he has two break point chances to do so, 15-40.

This is good stuff from Alastair Gray - he's really found his rhythm and any early nerves have left his body and he's playing with some freedom.

Despite the buzz around court eight, support for Joe Salisbury’s fellow Brit Alastair Gray can be heard spilling over from court 12 just next door.
Gray, the second lowest-ranked player in the men's singles draw, had not played above Challenger Tour level prior to his Wimbledon bow this year.
Broken by American Fritz - ranked just the 274 places above him in the rankings - in his opening service game, a terrific backhand winner down the line shows he’s settling in to this nicely now.
He’ll have to serve to stay in the first set, though.
Emma Raducanu produces the best shot of day three at Wimbledon with Novak Djokovic and Jeļena Ostapenko also featuring.
*Gray 2-5 Fritz
Alastair Gray will be encouraged by the fact he has created four break-point chances against 11th seed Taylor Fritz, although the Briton has failed to convert any of them so far.
The American holds and is now one game away from taking the opening set.
Gray 2-4 Fritz*
Alastair Gray produces a special forehand from beyond the baseline and that gives him his break point, but he can't convert it as can only then send a shot into the bottom of the net after a Fritz slice. Deuce.
Gray 2-4 Fritz*
Alastair Gray holds to 15, although the Briton, in the world rankings at 288th, is still a break down to Taylor Fritz, who needs two holds to clinch the first set.
Ram/Salisbury 4-2 Altmaier/Taberner
Over on Court Eight, Britain's Joe Salisbury is in action as he and doubles partner Rajeev Ram take on Carlos Taberner and Daniel Altmaier. Salisbury and Ram have just got the first break and lead 4-2.
Salisbury is aiming to win his home tournament for the first time and, interestingly, is allergic to grass., external
*Gray 1-4 Fritz
Britain's Alastair Gray is a break down in the first set over on Court 12 with Taylor Fritz now taking control after saving those three break points in the very first game.
Fritz, who won the Eastbourne title last week, is 4-1 ahead after only 18 minutes and very much on top in the first set now.

It’s packed out on court eight as many decide their first port of call on day four is to get behind Britain’s world number one men's doubles player, Joe Salisbury.
Salisbury and American doubles partner Rajeev Ram have made a confident start with two solid holds of serve, as the top seeds look to apply early pressure on against opponents Daniel Altmaier and Carlos Taberner - though they were made to work harder for their latest game.
There are seats on one side of court eight, while opposite, the gangways are full of people trying to catch a glimpse of the action behind rows of spectators.
For the third time at this year's Wimbledon, one of the men's seeds has had to withdraw because of Covid-19.
On Monday it was 14th seed Marin Cilic, then came eighth seed Matteo Berrettini on Tuesday and now 17th seed Roberto Bautista Agut of Spain has had to pull out before his scheduled second-round match with Daniel Elahi Galan.
Bautista Agut wrote on Instagram: "Sadly today I have notified the organization of #Wimbledon , externalof my withdrawal from the competition. Yesterday I started not feeling very well and I tested positive for Covid-19.
"Symptoms are not very serious, but I think this is the best decision. Thank you all for your support always. I hope to be back on court soon."

Today’s early arrivals at the All England Club had a bit of a treat if they happened to be walking past court 14…
Rafael Nadal was on there practising – most players are on the practice courts away from public eyes but the 22-time Grand Slam champion was happy to have people in the seats watching.
A nice bonus for anyone who doesn’t have a Centre Court ticket to watch him play against Ricardas Berankis later this afternoon.
*Gray 0-1 Fritz
A nervy start to the second round match for Taylor Fritz, but he survives three break points and is just about up and running.
Gray 0-0 Fritz*
Is this going to be the start Alastair Gray was dreaming of? He's already had two break point chances on the opening service game from Taylor Fritz. Deuce.
British interest starts off on Court 12 and what a day it could be for 24-year-old Alastair Gray.
He's 288th in the world rankings, playing in his first ever Grand Slam and takes on 11th seeded American Taylor Fritz.
This is what we've got to entertain us today.
Centre Court starts at 13:30 BST, Court One at 13:00 BST with the other courts beginning at 11:00 BST.
