    Over on Court 13, Britain's Dan Evans, seeded 24th, is in action against Belgium's David Goffin and has just taken the first set.

    Evans' best performance in Melbourne came in 2017 when he reached the fourth round, but he lost in the first round here a year ago.

    World number 45 Goffin, meanwhile, has reached the quarter-finals of the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon during his career.

    But Evans got the decisive break of serve in the 10th game of the opening set to take an early lead.
