Nicely done by Linda Noskova! The Czech teenager breaks back for a second time in this opening set, a terrific backhand bringing her level at 4-4.
*Raducanu 4-3 Noskova
Some great hitting from both players, finding the corners from the baseline.
Noskova denies Raducanu at game point - and now the Czech has a break point.
Watson 3-6 3-5 Jacquemot *
All that fight but it is Jacquemot who will serve for a spot in the second round as Watson just struggles under fire (and of course rain).
*Raducanu 4-3 Noskova
Raducanu releases a big 'come on!' as Noskova misses for 15-15, but the Czech lets fly on the backhand to edge back in front.
Raducanu is relieved once again as she closes in and kills a point with a volley at the net to move 40-30 ahead - but Noskova sticks away a backhand for deuce.
*Raducanu 4-3 Noskova
After a bit of a wait to decide whether play should continue on Court Simonne-Mathieu, the players do return to the court.

The concern really with these conditions is that the line gets really slippery, as opposed to the court that can soak up quite a bit of moisture. But the balls will start to get very heavy.
The players are getting on with it. The crowd are looking damp!
*Raducanu 4-3 Noskova
A brilliant forehand return from Raducanu forces deuce, but Noskova seals the hold as a Raducanu shot clips the cord and bounces out.
* Watson 3-6 3-4 Jacquemot
Things continue to tick along on serve but Heather Watson and Elsa Jacquemot are now in a holding pattern because of the rain.
No - wait - they are back on the court, albeit with Watson wrapped up with extra layers. Can't say we blame her! Looks chilly.
Raducanu 4-2 Noskova*
Noskova goes for another killer drop shot, but this time falls short as the rain begins to fall increasingly heavier.
It hands Raducanu a 0-30 advantage, but the Czech player sends a passing shot fizzing past the Briton to pull level.

It's a big moment for Evans - he desperately wants this win.
Can he get over the line before the heavens open?
What a way to win his first ever match at the French Open with a stunning backhand down the line!
Raducanu 4-2 Noskova*
Raducanu is hitting well from the back of the court and prevails in another rally to move 30-0 up on serve. Lovely! An ace wraps up a swift love hold and puts her two games to the good.
Evans 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 6-4
Dan Evans has done it! He's secured his first main-draw French Open victory at the fifth time of asking with an impressive straight-set win over Argentina's Francisco Cerundolo.
His birthday cake - he's 32 today - will taste so much sweeter and he can look forward to a second-round match against either Sweden's Mikael Ymer or Australia's James Duckworth.
*Raducanu 3-2 Noskova
Apparently there's some light rain beginning to fall again in Paris...
Emma Raducanu is questioning whether play should continue for the time being, but the umpire decides there's no problem just yet.
*Raducanu 3-2 Noskova
A smart serve out wide sees Noskova close to 30-40, but Raducanu does get the break this time as the early momentum swings once more!
Raducanu 2-2 Noskova*
Wonderful play from Emma Raducanu, who slots away a backhand to set up three break points.
* Watson 3-6 2-3 Jacquemot
As can be the norm in a Heather Watson match, that early advantange crumbles away in the terre-battue, as Elsa Jacquemot breaks and consolidates to get things back on serve.
Start nibbling those nails.
Raducanu 2-2 Noskova*
That's some turnaround from Noskova. From 40-0 down, the Czech 17-year-old breaks back against 10th seed Raducanu, having saved three break points in the previous game. Game on!
* Evans 7-6 (7-3) 6-4 4-3 Cerundolo

Evans sinks to his haunches, clenches his fist and looks to his coach. That meant something to him - from 3-0 to 3-3 when you are two sets up - you must get a bit nervy!
*Raducanu 2-1 Noskova
Noskova denies Raducanu a hold to love with a powerful two-handed backhand into the corner - and another gives her half a chance here just as it looked as though Raducanu was coasting to the game.
From 40-0 down, Noskova brings up deuce with a forehand.
*Raducanu 2-1 Noskova
Just the single break for Raducanu then, but it's still been a very promising start to her French Open debut. A forehand winner gets the Briton up and running on serve.
