Sunrise in Melbourne is in four hours. Will this match end before then?!
It will, obviously. But it is mad that they're playing at this time of night.
Andy Murray is taking it in his stride, anyway. Well, he was until a double fault made it 30-30 on his serve.

Catriona: Didn’t anticipate Andy Murray accompanying my entire working day today.
Sukh: The roller coaster of emotions you experience when watching Andy Murray play a match. Cannot believe they’re into their 4th hour and only 3 sets down.
Andy: Andy Murray. Gladiator. That is all.
You and me both Catriona, and watching him is my actual job.

Kokkinakis has played tremendously for the most part but has crumbled at times.
Murray just refuses to let go in this game. It is just a tug of war between these two
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 1-1 Kokkinakis
Ooooft, a very cute drop shot from Kokkinakis for another game point after he notices how deep beyond the baseline Murray is. But the Brit saves it again, coming into the net to fire a backhand out of his opponent's reach.
Kokkanakis, finally, takes his chance with an ace on game point.

Murray berates himself as he overcooks a backhand. Break point lost.

Another game point, another opportunity gone begging for Kokkinakis as he attempts a difficult overhead smash but it drops on the wrong side of the net.
He then overshoots off the forehand to give Murray a second break point.

Don't we all, Andy...
Murray finds himself game point down but averts the danger with an overhead smash into the corner.
But Kokkinakis earns himself another chance, coming into the net to play the ball down the middle as Murray sprints around the baseline, but he nets from a forehand.
Deuce. Again.

"Why are you playing at 3am!" shouts a furious Murray.
Well he did say after beating Berrettini that he doesn't have many late nights any more and likes to be in bed earlier these days.

...by an ace.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 1-0 Kokkinakis*
Murray's drawn into the net, where he leaps into the air like a gazelle to put a forehand out of Kokkinakis' reach and earn himself a break point.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 1-0 Kokkinakis*
This time, it's Murray with a sniff of a break point.
He's handed a 0-30 lead by Kokkinakis, who promptly cuts that deficit in half from overhead. Murray goes wide off the backhand and slaps his racquet in anger. 30-30.

That was a brutal game. Murray did a lot of running and that last point, throwing his racquet at it. Such is the talent of the man.
This is autopilot for Murray.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 1-0 Kokkinakis*
Murray notches ace number seven of the day for another game point, and this time, he takes his chance.
That game lasted 14 minutes. At 2am in the morning.
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 0-0 Kokkinakis
A mistake off the Murray backhand hands Kokkinakis a second break point, but AGAIN, he saves it with a forehand ripped into the corner.
Back to deuce.
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 0-0 Kokkinakis
Break point saved, as the Aussie puts too much behind a forehand. Kokkinakis saves a game point himself to put us back at deuce number three.
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 0-0 Kokkinakis
Given how pepped up Murray seemed to be, not the start to the fourth set he was after.
He concedes the opening two points on his serve, but Kokkinakis fails to keep a return in and then flops a forehand wide.
At deuce, Murray shoots a backhand too long and Kokkinakis has break point...

Andy Murray has just come back out to the crowd, shaking his fist to the crowd - saying 'I'm not done yet'

I couldn't possibly describe Kokkinakis' reaction to that miss - and losing the set - but it wasn't complimentary.
Murray walks off court - and back on it - waving his fist in the air like Hulk Hogan about to pull out a leg drop.
It will be interesting to see how many fans inside Margaret Court Arena stay for the fourth set.
It is 1:52 am here...
