Murray is really nailing the ball. He's going to take this into a decider, isn't he?

One game away from a fifth set!
This is incredible from Murray, he is looking so strong now.

It only feels right to have another Melbourne time check.
It's 2:42am there. Murray's brother Jamie was unhappy with the time four and a half hours ago, heaven knows how he feels now!
He's playing tomorrow, so is probably asleep.

How is Murray getting to these balls? I don't know how.
He breaks and he snarls in the direction of Kokkinakis.
He does not know the word 'quit'.

Are we going to a fifth set?!
I have goosebumps. Kokkinakis' backhand down the line lands wide and Andy Murray is a break up.
Coach Ivan Lendl has the facial expression of someone watching paint dry.

Here we go again!
Kokkinakis finds the net and Murray gets a second chance to go a break up.

Ok. Ace. Here we don't go.

Here we go...

Kokkinakis lands a smash - something he's struggled with against Murray - but the Brit still has control as he comes forward to the net and passes his opponent. 30-30.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 3-2 Kokkinakis*
Kokkinakis doesn't look too bothered by his ankle as he runs from one side of the court to the other after Murray's shots. The Australian does eventually send a forehand long and it's 15-15 on his serve.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 3-2 Kokkinakis*
Kokkinakis didn't ask for the trainer but he is frustrated when the umpire calls time on the change of ends.
Bit of a weird one. He's back at the baseline now though.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 3-2 Kokkinakis*
Uh oh. Kokkinakis slips and gingerly moves his ankle.
While that was going on, Murray hit the ball over the Australian to get his hold.
Kokkinakis may call for the trainer here. We'll see.
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 2-2 Kokkinakis
Murray looks to be wincing in a bit of pain. He slices a backhand into the net and blows the air out of his mouth in disgust at the error.
The net cord has his back as the ball bounces up in Murray's favour once again and he passes Kokkinakis to go 30-15 up.
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 2-2 Kokkinakis
Stellar serving from Thanasi Kokkinakis wraps up his hold.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 2-1 Kokkinakis*
Despite the length of the match and the late hour, these two are still serving top-quality tennis.
Who knows how they're doing. Murray looks to have beaten Kokkinakis with a drop-shot, but the Australian gets there and sends his opponent scuttling backwards.
Eventually, Murray has to pull out a forehand winner to get to 15-15.
Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 2-1 Kokkinakis*
Danger averted. Onwards!
Murray's bench is a racquet graveyard, guess that's what happens when you play for over four hours.

This is the second night on the bounce where British guys are still playing tennis when people have already been kicked out of Melbourne nightclubs.
Cam Norrie's 1:30am finish last night is starting to feel early in comparison.
Murray is still short of an infamous night here in 2019 when Johanna Konta finished at 3:12am.
That match against Garbine Muguruza didn't even start until after midnight.
Even more bizarrely it was going to be switched to another court but that plan was halted - because there was so much seagull poo on the outside court it would have taken too long to clear.
I'm not winding you up.
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 1-1 Kokkinakis
Another one gone!
Murray wraps that one up nice and quick with a slick serve and volley.
Ivan Lendl is unmoved in the stands. Is he even awake? Wouldn't blame him sneaking in a fourth-set nap at this time.
*Murray 4-6 6-7 (4-7) 7-6 (7-5) 1-1 Kokkinakis
Kokkinakis gives himself a second go with a lovely backhand down the line.
