I think it's raining. It might actually be spitting. Novak Djokovic has seen the funny side of it as well as the umpire comes down to have a little feel of the grass.

The rain has started to fall and the question is whether Novak Djokovic can wrap up this opening set before we have a possible delay to close the roof on Centre Court...

The third one is the charm.

Again, Pedro Cachin competes well in the rally but is sent this way and that by Djokovic.

The Argentine will rue the mistakes he made in the opening two points of that game.

Pedro Cachin saves two of those break points, the second by triumphing in a marathon rally with a wonderful drop slice that forced the error from Djokovic.

Still one break point to save though...

Plenty of drama on Court One as top seed Iga Swiatek loses her serve. She looked to be cruising at 40-15 but loses the next four points on the bounce and is broken for the first time today.

No drama for the world number one though who raises her game and immediately breaks Zhu Lin back.

Two forehand errors gift the Serb a 0-30 lead and then a massive forehand winner sets up three break points.

A bit too ambitious from the Argentine.

Two heavy forehands go long and gift Djokovic a hold - Cachin will be a bit annoyed with that after the hard work he put in to get that game back to deuce.

It's been a good match. I thought Cachin would be a little bit overawed with it, to be honest, but he isn't.

Novak Djokovic was cruising at 40-0 up on his latest service game but a lovely Cachin lob and a brilliant cross-court forehand, followed by a winner from the Serb's return out wide, take us to deuce.

[Swiatek's] wearing old shoes, they look old. Maybe she hasn't adjusted as much. Boris Becker used to tell me he used to finish the tournament with different shoes than he started it with.

Tell you what, though, Feliciano - Pedro Cachin isn't being intimidated by the challenge yet.

A comfortable hold to 15, aided by some fine first serves, and we're back level.

It’s always difficult when you have to play someone like Novak Djokovic.

You don’t have to look at the numbers or statistics.

When you play someone like Djokovic or Roger Federer you feel their presence on the court that is very different to when you play any other player on tour.

Djokovic doing what Djokovic does. Pedro Cachin's advantage only lasted a few minutes before the seven-time champion immediately broke back, aided by a sublime forehand arrowed into the corner, which Cachin just had to stand and admire.An ace then sees Djokovic hold but it has been a really enjoyable, hard-fought start to this match with the second seed not having it all his own way.

Iga Swiatek is a set and a break up after powering a backhand winner down the line.

Her play has too much power and zip on it and Zhu Lin has no answers.

There's some drizzle coming down on Court One now. Thankfully not enough to bring us off.

One for the Roger Federer fans...

He may have retired but there will be another chance to glimpse the Swiss great on the court where he won a record eight men's singles titles.

He'll be on Centre Court on Tuesday when Wimbledon are planning to honour him before play starts.

"We'll have a moment just to celebrate his achievements and to say thank you for all the memories," All England Club chief executive Sally Bolton said on Monday.

Get your hankies ready - remember those emotional scenes at last year's Laver Cup when he bowed out from the sport...

Another great who has retired since last year's Wimbledon, Serena Williams, was also invited but Bolton said the American was unable to travel because she is pregnant.

A disappointing end for Great Britain's Harriet Dart as she lost in three after taking the opening set against Diane Parry.

Pedro Cachin is really getting the Centre Court crowd on their feet here.

A lovely backhand slice cross-court clips the net and goes over - but Novak Djokovic is perfectly positioned to deposit it down the line.

A big forehand to the feet of the approaching Argentine and a massive ace down the middle seal a hold for the Serb.

Top seed Swiatek is facing the highest-ranked player she could have played in the opening round, but she made Zhu - the world number 34 - look rather ordinary in that devastating first set.

Swiatek has never gone past the fourth round here and, after reaching the semi-finals in Bad Homburg last week, is looking right at home on the grass.

The Polish world number one is moving well and clobbering winners.

Cachin hammers an ace for 30-0 as he looks to consolidate his breakthrough.

The Argentine moves a point away with a neat volley, but Djokovic is still lurking at 40-30 and a net shot brings him to deuce.

A bullet forehand from Djokovic sets up the break back opportunity, and Cachin misses with an attempted lob. Order is restored.
