It is a determined start by Tomova but Boulter has no intention of giving up the early advantage and fights back well to hold.

If Alexander Zverev gets through this match, he won't be too daunted by what faces him in round two.
The potential opponents are world number 81 Marc-Andrea Huesler of Switzerland, or Japan's Yosuke Watanuki, who is ranked 116th in the world and lost in qualifying but then got a lucky reprieve because of late withdrawals.
Zverev needs two more games and one break of serve and it's round two for him.

A tight turnaround for Katie Boulter, who is back in action already after playing yesterday.
The British number one is up against the Bulgarian number one Viktoriya Tomova, with that match just getting under way on court 12.

He will play Australia's Alex De Minaur, the boyfriend of British number one Katie Boulter, in the second round.
