    Done it!

Heather Watson and Harriet Dart are through after seeing off seventh seeds Jelena Ostapenko and Lyudmyla Kichenok.

A fine scalp for the British duo.

Just the start to this second set that Cameron Norrie needs as he holds, an ace down the middle sealing the opening game.

Are we heading for a second tie-break in three sets? We are on serve in the third as we approach the business end.

Andy Murray, backstage, could be getting on in a few games' time as he looks to finish off the job against fifth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas, holding a two sets to one lead after last night's thrilling opening three sets..

Alcaraz two games, and a break of serve, away from the third round.

    Well, well, well.

    That’s dampened the mood somewhat.

The Court One crowd are a bit gobsmacked that the British number one has been bossed so easily in that first set.

Eubanks shows very little emotion but looks super relaxed as he returns to the chair.

    *Norrie 3-6 0-0 Eubanks

It's been a meteoric rise up the rankings this year, and you're looking at someone who looks like he absolutely belongs here. He's not overawed by the situation.

    He's playing smart.

Norrie is struggling with the second serve points.

  6. Game and first set - Eubankspublished at 16:00 British Summer Time 7 July 2023

    *Norrie 3-6 Eubanks

Chris Eubanks uses the power of his serve to battle back to set point. His first serve is just out but the bounce is awkward on his second and Cameron Norrie can only hook it into the net.

Impressive tennis from Eubanks, mixing up power with a fine variety of shots.

    Alcaraz 6-4 7-6 (7-2) 4-3 Muller*

Carlos Alcaraz isn't pulling out all the stops, but I still can't see Alexandre Muller making a breakthrough in this set.

I may regret saying that, but the top seed looks the stronger player as we remain on serve.

While we wait for the outcome of this third set to be decided, you can have a look at how Alcaraz saw out the second set in style.

Brilliant from Cameron Norrie as he cracks a forehand return right into the corner to lead 30-15 on Chris Eubanks' serve.

That's just what the British number one needed.

  9. Andreescu into third roundpublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 7 July 2023

Bianca Andreescu has finally seen off 26th seed Anhelina Kalinina from Ukraine over on court 16.

The Canadian 23-year-old was cruising at a set up and 4-2 but shipped four straight games to allow her opponent back in.

Set three went all the way to a tie-break and Andreescu eventually closed it out to move into round three.

The 2019 US Open champion will play either sixth seed Ons Jabeur or Bai Zhuoxuan of China.

Fantastic variety on that one and Eubanks chose to unleash the fury. That change-up is causing Norrie some difficulty.

Eubanks has enjoyed quite the transformation on grass courts this summer.

At the start of the swing, he called the lush blades the “stupidest surface to play tennis on” in a WhatsApp chat with former world number one Kim Clijsters.

But, after some tips and reassurance from the Belgian, Eubanks adapted his game, gained confidence and ended up winning the Mallorca title last week.

Now, his ability on the surface - his hefty serve, fluid groundstrokes and willingness to come to the net - is giving Norrie the sweats.

And Eubanks gets the first break of the match, his variety of shots in that game putting Cameron Norrie under pressure.

  13. Postpublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 7 July 2023

    *Norrie 3-4 Eubanks

Chris Eubanks mixes up his shot on the returns with a slice followed by a big hit and Cameron Norrie has no answer.

Eubanks follows that up with a groundstroke that is too fast and too accurate for Norrie to respond before a forehand winner gives Eubanks three break points.

    A testing moment for Norrie.

    *Norrie 3-4 Eubanks

Chris Eubanks is looking unfazed by the pressure of playing against a home crowd and he breezes through his service game, a fine volley at the net the highlight.

Norrie finally manages to take a point off Eubanks and 40-0 down but once again the American's serve has too much power as he holds.

  15. Third set remains on servepublished at 15:50 British Summer Time 7 July 2023

    Alcaraz 6-4 7-6 (7-2) 3-2 Muller*

We remain on serve on Centre Court. Carlos Alcaraz is showcasing some pretty special tennis, but he definitely isn't at his best.

Despite that, Alexandre Muller hasn't been able to truly challenge the top seed and we remain on serve in the third set.

First bit of serious graft for Cam Norrie.

Under pressure on his serve, the forehand starts firing and his relief is evident as he stares at his box.

    Fist and teeth are clenched.

    Norrie 3-3 Eubanks*

Chris Eubanks appears to have found an answer to Cameron Norrie's serve and his return has too much power for Norrie to respond and the American goes 30-15 up.

Norrie pulls it back to lead 40-15 but his return from a powerful backhand is sent long and it is deuce.

Norrie manages to grind out the next two points and hold.

  18. Postpublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 7 July 2023

    *Norrie 2-3 Eubanks

First point lost by the server comes on the 25th point of the match. It comes at the end of the match's first real rally as Cameron Norrie is unable to get a forehand return over the net and Chris Eubanks leads 15-0.

  19. Sinner and Zverev leading in men's drawpublished at 15:45 British Summer Time 7 July 2023

    Alexander ZverevImage source, Getty Images

We've got top seed Carlos Alcaraz looking to close out a straight-set win over Alexandre Muller on Centre Court, while British number one Cameron Norrie is under way against American Christopher Eubanks on Court One.

But what else is happening in the men's draw?

Well, Italian eighth seed Jannik Sinner has just taken the third set against Quentin Halys to turn the match in his favour at 3-6 6-2 6-3 after the Frenchman won the opener.

Alexander Zverev, the 19th seed, is aiming to wrap up victory in four sets against Japan's Yosuke Watanuki, leading that one 6-4 5-7 6-2 3-1.

Elsewhere, 23rd seed Alexander Bublik is looking comfortable against German Maximilian Marterer at 6-4 5-1.

Australia's Jason Kubler is a break up as he aims to level his match against Chile's 25th seed Nicolas Jarry by taking the second set, with the winner of that looking likely to face Alcaraz next.

    Copy, paste, minor tweak.

Five games. Thirteen minutes. Zero receiving points won.

The murmur made by those coming back into Court One suggests they can’t believe five games have already whizzed by.
