With that good news, let's take a look at who you can follow this morning.
On court two, two-time champion Petra Kvitova resumes her campaign in the third round against Natalija Stevanovic.
On court three, Brazilian 13th seed Beatriz Haddad Maia is up against Sorana Cirstea.
Meanwhile, American men's 16th seed Tommy Paul meets Jiri Lehecka on court 12.
Looks like we might have to get used to possible rain interruptions - the forecast over the next few days is, well, changeable, let's call it.
The weather forecast is not massively encouraging, with a yellow warning of thunderstorms in place.
However, play is about to get under way as planned on the outside courts.
Phew. Fingers crossed.
Here's how the order of play looks today on Centre Court.
It's a hot ticket all right, with Carlos Alcaraz kicking off the action against Nicolas Jarry.
British number one Katie Boulter will fly the flag for the Brits last up on centre court against reigning champion Elena Rybakina.
Before that, Ons Jabeur, who reached the final last year, faces Bianca Andreescu in the other Centre Court clash.
We have a slight problem, though.
The rain has returned to Wimbledon, just as we'd managed to start catching up on all the delays caused by play being suspended earlier in the week.
That won't be a problem for Boulter - or the likes of Carlos Alcaraz, Ons Jabeur, Daniil Medvedev and Aryna Sabalenka - with the roof already closed on both Centre and Court One.
But it could mean we have a bit of a wait before play elsewhere gets started today.
It wasn't exactly a fantastic Friday in the end for British interest at Wimbledon yesterday.
Cameron Norrie, Andy Murray and Liam Broady all fell in the men's singles.
But Katie Boulter is still standing in the women's draw - and the Centre Court crowd will undoubtedly give her a strong backing when she comes up against reigning champion Elena Rybakina today.
Welcome to day six of the 2023 Championships!
