We don't often talk about being beaten by the kick of a second serve on grass, but that was impressive by Hurkacz.
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 6-6 Djokovic*
A fine second serve and it is advantage Hubert Hurkacz before Novak Djokovic successfully challenges a call on his opponent's serve. It only delays the hold as Hurkacz wraps it up with a forehand volley.
On we go to another tie-break.
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 5-6 Djokovic*
Hubert Hurkacz doesn't challenge a call at 40-15, he should have because it was in, and that opens the door for Novak Djokovic as he gets back to deuce.
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 5-6 Djokovic*
Hubert Hurkacz kicks things off on his serve with his 21st and 22nd aces of the match.

Rob: My wife just elbowed me: “Wake up dear.. they’re having a rally.. Sorry, too late..”
*Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 5-6 Djokovic
Hubert Hurkacz challenges a line call on the first point as a good rally ends with him putting a shot wide. It was clearly out and the review backs that up.
It is the only flashpoint of a routine hold to love by Novak Djokovic as we hurtle towards a tie-break.
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 5-5 Djokovic*
Hubert Hurkacz has hit 20 aces to Novak Djokovic's seven and that monstrous serve does the business again as he breezes to a hold to love.
*Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 4-5 Djokovic
Novak Djokovic responds in style with a hold to love, the highlight of this game a lengthy rally that ends with Djokovic smashing a volley out of Hubert Hurkacz's reach.
This is enthralling stuff and the crowd acknowledge with a big round of applause at the end of that game.

That's an absolute monster of a serve at 139mph on the second break-point down, before Hurkacz eases up a bit and sends down another one at only 138mph.
The Pole was three break points down, saved them all with some out-of-this-world serving. He then has to do it again to save a fourth break and gets lucky as Djokovic clatters into the net when trying to finish the game off at close range.
But great sportsmanship between the two, who share a laugh and a joke, much to the enjoyment of everyone here.
Somehow, Hurkacz claws himself out of the hole with one of the finest collections of brilliant serves in a row that you would wish to see.
What a game. Brilliant.

First serves continue to be amazing from Hurkacz, but Djokovic making inroads on the second serves.
*Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 4-4 Djokovic
Brilliant from Hubert Hurkacz as he digs himself out of trouble to get the hold.
He looked out of it several times in that game but pulls it out of the bag and that will do his confidence the world of good.
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 3-4 Djokovic*
Novak Djokovic almost topples over the net as he looks to slam down a shot but puts it wide. Deuce.
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 3-4 Djokovic*
Another big serve by Hubert Hurkacz and it is deuce but Novak Djokovic takes the next point and pressure is on Hurkacz again as he looks in danger of undoing all that good work...

We move into the last hour of play and we are in the eighth game of the second set after two brilliant matches earlier on Centre Court - with Andrey Rublev against Alexander Bublik going five sets, with the Russian winning, before Iga Swiatek fought back from behind to beat Belinda Bencic.
But we didn't start on the court until 13:30 BST so you have to wonder why it wasn't an earlier start in the day.
The hard curfew is 23:00 BST. Play will stop then no matter what.
Djokovic could still win this in time if he blasts his way through the rest of the match, but if Hurkacz takes this set then the players are coming back tomorrow.

And another big serve that nudges close to 140mph saves another...
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 3-4 Djokovic*
An 18-shot rally ends with Novak Djokovic driving a forehand into the corner and he has three break points.
Big test now for Hubert Hurkacz, which he rises to with an ace to save one break point.

After Paris, and because of that emotional build up of going after 23, he needed to get away from things, recharge the batteries mentally and physically, and coming onto grass he's so confident, it doesn't take him long.
Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 3-4 Djokovic*
Hubert Hurkacz will be disappointed with his mistake on the opening point as he puts a forehand into the net, despite being well placed for it.
There's nothing he can do about the next point, however, as he commits to coming to the net and Novak Djokovic sweeps a backhand into the corner and he leads 30-0.
*Hurkacz 6-7 (6-8) 3-4 Djokovic
Novak Djokovic is getting into his groove here now as he responds to a good backhand slice by Hubert Hurkacz that just clears the net with a flicked forehand down the line.
It is another comfortable hold as we get into the business end of this second set.
