However, both have managed to avoid facing a break point as Novak Djokovic hits a couple of winners to hold.

Easily the game of the match so far, although there wasn't much competition.
Hurkacz gets taken to deuce with a youngster in the crowd grabbing the ball that flew his way. And gets a round of applause for doing so to give him a great story to tell his mates back at school tomorrow.
It's largely been an exhibition of serving, with that game the first time either man's serve has come under any sort of pressure.
It's very much got the feel of a tie-break coming - and if so Djokovic is 3-0 in them at this tournament.

Biggest cheer so far of the match as a young fan catches the ball from a high and wide Hubert Hurkacz's effort.
Hurkacz isn't in the mood for joining in with the joviality, though, because it is deuce on his serve. But he's able to keep his cool, taking the next two points and cementing the hold with a fine cross-court forehand and we stay on serve.

Superb stuff from Novak Djokovic as he gets a 135mph first serve from Hubert Hurkacz back over on his way to taking the first point of this game.
A decent rally on the next point ends with Djokovic moving 30-0 up and for the first time in this game the person serving is feeling the heat.
Djokovic is just about able to return a thunderous Hurkacz serve but can't reach the forehand at the net before more great work at the net makes it 30-30.
