It’s pretty much full on Centre Court, such is the lure of watching the superstar that Djokovic is.

The Serb has not lost a point on his own serve yet, but Hurkacz is also holding his serve nicely too.

We started at 20:49 BST and need to finish by 23:00 or it’s going to be concluded tomorrow.

How can anybody win against Djokovic. This is the question. I think Hurkacz has the serve, this is something to consider today.

As expected, Hubert Hurkacz's serve is proving a tough nut to crack and he holds with relative ease, dropping just the one point and he leads 3-2.

Novak Djokovic kicks his service game off with an ace before Hubert Hurkacz sends a forehand long and the defending champion leads 30-0.

Djokovic is caught out by an excellent return by Hurkacz on the next point as he can't get to the backhand return, sliding across the baseline, but takes the next point as we continue on serve.

Here's what Ukraine's Elina Svitolina had to say following her remarkable win:

"I think after giving birth to our daughter this is the second happiest moment in my life.

"When I was down in the second set I heard you guys cheering for me and I almost wanted to cry.

"It was really tough for me because I wasn't playing my best, I was really struggling but I really wanted to win today. You guys gave me so much strength today. You were really unbelievable."

On how she managed to win the tie-break: "I don't know. I was just trying to think about back home, the people watching and cheering for me. I know how much it will mean to them.

"Any moment they can share of happiness [means a lot]. There are tough times in Ukraine and I am playing here in front of you guys, I cannot complain. I just try to win every point. Really, thank you so much."

On reaching the quarter-finals: "Really unbelievable. In January when I started playing again I didn't think that I would be here. I didn't think on the grass I would play that good.

"I'm just really enjoying the atmosphere, this chance. I'm really thankful for the chance to play here."

On having to sell her ticket to go and watch Harry Styles: "I hope Harry is watching. I'm just a big fan of his."

Hubert Hurkacz is flexing that service muscle as a couple thumping efforts have too much power for Novak Djokovic.

He then clips a lovely volley at the net out of Djokovic's reach to seal the game.

After each match the winners and losers head to the Media Pavilion, a hugely impressive purpose-built space at the top of the Broadcast Centre.

In 2023 the media interview facilities moved from their traditional home in the Millennium Building and the Media Pavilion features a new Media Theatre, where most of the after-match player interviews (not including the immediate on-court interviews on Centre Court and Court One) will take place.

There are also a further seven smaller interview rooms, an outdoor broadcast mixed zone, and two levels of bookable stand-up and presentation positions for rights-holders.

The rooftop terrace of the Broadcast Centre, overlooking courts 18 and 14, features an incredible panoramic view of the grounds, while the bottom floor has a 24-hour restaurant to keep the 450-500 journalists who attend daily, from 52 different countries, well fed around the clock.

Novak Djokovic has lifted the famous Wimbledon trophy on seven occasions - with Roger Federer the only person to have won the men’s singles more times with eight successes here.

But the 36-year-old Serb is on course to match Federer’s number a week today and has not had too many problems in his three matches so far.

He has seen off Argentina’s Pedro Cachin, Jordan Thompson of Australia and Switzerland’s Stan Wawrinka without dropping a set, although, rather randomly, each match has included a tie-break in one of the sets.

Standing in his way tonight is Polish 17th seed Hubert Hurkacz, a man most famous for beating Federer in the 2021 Wimbledon quarter-finals in what proved to be the Swiss legend’s last ever match here.

    Wow. Wow. Wow.

Svitolina falls to the court in exhilaration, the relief of getting over the line hitting home.

The players exchange a knowing glance, but not - as we knew - a handshake.

Azarenka gets booed off the court! She stops and turns.

"Why?" she shrugs before gesturing as she heads downstairs.

    Incredible, incredible drama.

What can you say about Novak Djokovic? He is looking even better. His level has been amazing. Those years of looking after your body, it is paying dividends because he looks like someone in their late 20s/early 30s. He looks like he has years left in him. He has improved, he hasn't stood still.

With the previous match on Centre Court, Iga Swiatek's thrilling comeback victory against Belinda Bencic, not finishing until 20:25 BST, that means Novak Djokovic and Hubert Hurkacz won't start playing much before 21:00 BST.

Therefore, for the second time in three days, Djokovic is not only up against an opponent, but also the clock as well if he wants to have a day off tomorrow.

The Wimbledon curfew is a hard 23:00 BST and, as what happened on Thursday in the Andy Murray v Stefanos Tsitsipas clash, the match will be suspended earlier if needed in the name of fairness, such as at the end of a set.

On Friday, in round three, Djokovic got the three-set win over Stan Wawrinka completed at 22:46 BST, with only 14 minutes to spare. But even on that occasion, at 5-5 in the third set tie-break, the Swiss player was only two points away from extending the match into the next day.

If it can't be finished tonight those with Centre Court tickets on Monday will probably get to watch Carlos Alcaraz and Djokovic, what many people expect to be the men's final, both in action on the same court on the same day.

Not sure what happened after the match but there seemed to be boos as Victoria Azarenka left the court.

She was clearly unimpressed with that.

No handshakes either - as Elina Svitolina had always said there wouldn't be.
