You could see Novak Djokovic psyche himself up for that moment in the fourth game when he had that break point and he knew that was a big chance.
But the accuracy and variety, not necessarily always the speed (although sometimes it is lightning quick) of the Hurkacz serve is something to behold and a hat-trick of aces takes him from 30-40 down and in trouble to winning a massive hold.
That's 13 aces so far from the 17th seed. There will be more. Expect Djokovic to fight hard again though, he always does.
Elina Svitolina has always said she will not shake the hand of Russian and Belarusian players following the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
But reporters asked whether she felt the crowd had got it confused given it was Svitolina who was choosing not to shake her hand.
"Victim? Victim that somebody didn't shake my hand? Please," she said.
"I haven't done anything wrong, but keep getting different treatment sometimes.
"But what can I say about the crowd? There is nothing to say. She doesn't want to shake hands with Russian, Belarusian people. I respected her decision.
"What should I have done? Stayed and waited? Like, I mean, there's nothing that I could do that would have been right, so I just did what I thought was respectful towards her decision."
Azarenka was keen to focus on the tennis, which was an epic match:
"I thought it was a great tennis match. If people are going to be focusing only on handshakes or crowd, quite drunk crowd, booing in the end, that's a shame.
"That's probably what it is in the end of the day.
"It was a tennis match. We are here, tennis match. Nobody's changing lives here. We are playing tennis. We're doing our jobs. That's it."
We've just had a very tense press conference with Victoria Azarenka following her loss to Elina Svitolina.
She was booed off by the Court One crowd and said it was "unfair" as she faced the media in the last few minutes.
"I can't control the crowd. I'm not sure that a lot of people were understanding what's happening, so... It's probably been a lot of Pimm's throughout the day," she said.
Reporters asked whether Azarenka felt it was because the crowd did not understand that Svitolina was the one opting not to shake her hand.
"It is what it is. What can I do?"
Azarenka seemed upset, angered and was wearing sunglasses throughout.

Superb from Novak Djokovic!
A delicate forehand at the net has the right amount of power and placement to catch out Hubert Hurkacz before he wraps up the hold with a fantastic flicked backhand that is out of his opponent's reach.
He just makes those seemingly tricky shots look so effortless.

That's the closest Novak Djokovic has come to losing a set at this year's Wimbledon and Hubert Hurkacz is going to be having nightmares about that tie-break tonight.
He had done almost all of the hard work with three aces and a double fault from Djokovic taking Hurkacz to 6-3 and three set points.
But Djokovic wins five points in a row to snatch the set away from him. The point at 6-5 is the one that will really upset the Pole, with an unforced error seeing him slap a forehand into the net.
The crowd can't believe it, a ruthless Djokovic takes advantage and he produces a raised fist at the end after he has maintained his bizarre record of winning a set in each match via a tie-break at this year's Wimbledon.
Hurkacz has to quickly try to forget about the end of that set and focus on the fact he had the 23-time Grand Slam champion in a whole heap of trouble.

The forehand side of Hurkacz is a little bit more erratic, a little bit more inconsistent. That was definitely a little bit shaky.
