    That is simply incredible.

The collective gasps I've just heard watching that final point!

Iga Swiatek seizes her first match point with a brave and brilliant cross-court forehand which scorches the line.

The top seed has done it!

Match of the tournament? I'd say so, but I've not been able to follow the other match on Court One closely enough to confidently say...

    What a night.

The chap next to me turned to me earlier and asked who I thought would win. I said I thought Swiatek would get it done and he just turned to me and said ‘now, now is the time’.

How very profound. As it happens he could be right as Swiatek comes back from 0-30 to set up match point.

    Oh no!

    Dramaaa.

Bencic had already used her last challenge. If she had challenged that call, she would have two break points right now.

Instead, Swiatek moves to match point.

    Ferocious stuff from both players.

It has gone gloomy overhead and I am sure Bencic is feeling a little gloomy when she thinks back to those match points she had in the second set. It is hard to believe how quickly it has gone away from her, but that is tennis, it happens so often.
