Wimbledon 2023: 'Horror start' for Carlos Alcaraz as Novak Djokovic breaks again

Wayne:Think this has just come a little bit too early for Alcaraz. Definite future champion here, but Djokovic too smart and too good right now.

Charlene:This is insane by Djokovic. How he is able to break you every time at this Grand Slam level. It is fascinating. There is no one like him on the tour. Just wow.

Sean:Alcaraz is a great player, but Djokovic is next level.

That's a more encouraging game for world number one Carlos Alcaraz. A couple of big serves and far fewer errors.

There are wooops from one man in the crowd as seals the opener in this second set.

Alcaraz's forehand - one of his best shots - is coming under pressure and errors from that side have heavily contributed to him falling behind.

Djokovic often uses this tactic. Goes for a strength, shows he is isn't scared of taking it on and putting doubt in his opponent's head.

Suppose it's a bit like a small kid warding off trouble by having a pop at the biggest person in the playground.

Sho: This is looking real bad for Alcaraz already. Not getting any free points on serve and you have no chance of beating Djokovic if that's the case.

    Spectacular from Carlos Alcaraz!

    He's done it!

Demin sends a forehand long to gift Searle two Championship points and then does it again to hand him the title.

Demin reviews the second but the call was right, it's out!

Searle raises his arms towards his box with a huge smile on his face and then fist pumps towards his fan club in front of me.
