Billy Morgan's task gets a little harder as Canada's Tyler Nicholson soars into the top six. His compatriot Mark McMorris, the leader after round one, then does things that shouldn't be possible on a snowboard. His 86.83 is the highest score from either heat.

We're under way with the second run. Remember, Morgan and Coultas are 10th and 11th to go.

There were plenty to fall in the first run, with Japan's Yuri Okubo taking a unique head-first approach....

Apparently, the snow temperature is -3 degrees, but the air temp is an even 0. Balmy in South Korea.

Billy Morgan was edged out of the top six by penultimate rider Clemens Millauer, pictured, of Austria. Like Jamie Nicholls before him, Morgan must improve in his second run to have a chance of reaching the final.

    Switzerland v Corea - women's ice hockey

    Caroline Chapman
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

"The hardest part was accepting that we wouldn’t be able to play three of our players," said coach Sarah Murray, whose unified Korean team have only played together once before the Games, in a friendly defeat by Sweden.

"As a coach you want to protect your players, they are your family. Our team practises for 11 months of the year so to have to tell one of the family they’re not going to play is really difficult.

"As far as working with the North Koreans, language has been difficult. In our practice, I can coach in English and the players understand but the North Koreans know no English at all."

But she did go on to say: "I could never have anticipated they would get along so well. They mix themselves together at lunch and they’re laughing and joking and smiling on the ice. They’re just girls, they’re just hockey players, there’s no difference."

    Switzerland v Corea - Women's hockey (12:10 GMT)

    Caroline Chapman
    BBC Sport in Pyeongchang

After the rousing show of unity at the opening ceremony on Friday, it's time for Corea to take to the ice in their first women's hockey group match against Switzerland later today.

(That's not a typo, by the way. The north and south Koreans go under the team name of Corea)

Canadian coach Sarah Murray spoke to the BBC's Alex Capstick about the difficulties she's faced since the 12 players from North Korea entered the South Korean squad two weeks ago.

As Mads Hedberg becomes the latest snowboarder to fall...

Team GB snowboarder Jamie Nicholls on BBC One: "This is actually one of the best courses I've ever ridden, it's just such a shame with the wind today that it can gust and you end up short on the knuckle.

"It was difficult to ride this morning, but I enjoyed it still."

Jamie Nicholls, by the way, has joined the commentary team on BBC One following his disappointment earlier on.

  12. Snowboardingpublished at 05:03 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

You won't have to wait long for the second run. It starts at about 05:15 GMT. With three riders to go in the first run, Billy Morgan remains in sixth place. Sweden's Mads Hedberg has just taken a nasty fall and is being tended to by medics. He's sitting up, but he's taken a real blow to the head.

It's a great signal that he can really push that score. He can really bump that up.

There are certainly plenty of positives for Billy Morgan to take from that first run.

  15. Snowboardingpublished at 04:54 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

56.40 for Morgan, which is enough for sixth place. He shrugs his shoulders, because he knows he can do better.

Still, he has a place in that all-important top six. He has a real chance of reaching the final.

  16. Snowboardingpublished at 04:53 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

A hand went on to the snow, but that was about it. Morgan did well to stay upright and improved as he went on.

A sniff of the top six?

  17. Snowboardingpublished at 04:52 Greenwich Mean Time 10 February 2018

Morgan is away, down the middle. Backside 270, good style. Miller-filp, backside rodeo.

    Enough speed.

    Billy Morgan...

In the red of Great Britain, Coultas is off. A bend of the knees, the a glide down the slope. Speed, over the pipes.
