That's a big blow to the Dutch.

    Men's 1500m

Over in the long track speed skating, the men's 1500m final is under way.

Every one gets one crack at the distance, fastest time wins. Nice and straightforward.

Patrick Roest of the Netherlands leads at the moment but there's plenty of athletes to come.

    Men's 5,000m relay

As if speed skating wasn't mad enough there's a 5,000m relay going on - 12 athletes on the rink! Unsurprisingly there are plenty of crashes going on.

    Demolition derby.

Mush Linguine: My phone battery is depleting big time on this train because I’m live streaming BBC Olympics. I knew I should’ve brought a charger.

Callum Rowe: Watching Elise Christie race this morning isn’t fun. It’s bum-clenching tension from start to finish. I don’t need that.

Dann Williams: Go on Elise Christie. Completely sold on this sport, it’s got everything. Fast paced, tactical, and plenty of chaos thrown in.

If she doesn't get the lead, which I'm not entirely convinced she will, Elise Christie will be one of those skaters scrapping for a position.

We just hope she goes through nicely. She has great overtaking skills and great top speed so let's have some faith!

Elise Christie will have lane four. She will have to do some work to get to the front. She proved in the quarter-final she can overtake but it could get messy!

She was a little slower off the line in this race. She slipped a little and had to build up speed which meant she was a little under pressure.

If I was the referee, I'd be penalising Boutin.
