    OAR 1-5 Great Britain

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

The whole Great Britain team are pulling together here, it's a wonderful start to their first match.

They're playing well, but at the moment they've been allowed to play well. They've not been put under too much pressure and OAR continue to make mistakes.

Great Britain have sizable lead after only three ends. They are punishing Russian mistakes. All four women are contributing, while OAR look a little flustered.

    OAR 1-3 Great Britain

GB are lying shot with three stones left to play. Anna Sloan, the shortest of the quartet, is in deep conversation with Muirhead. Lots of broom pointing from Muirhead, who could be playing with a giant chess set. Muirhead crouches, points where she wants the stone and the left-handed Sloan removes one of the Russian stones.

OAR errorpublished at 05:36 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    OAR 1-3 Great Britain

Huge error by Not Russia. With the house unguarded, the final stone only needs sliding into position for two points on the board. Instead, it's woefully short, meaning OAR only pick up one. The hammer passes back to GB and Muirhead's team have a great chance to extend their lead.
