I’m not able to concentrate on what’s happening on the sheets because I want this hat so much.

You feel for anyone in top level sport when the basics aren't going right, it's not even about luck, OAR just aren't able to get their shots right - which is great news for Great Britain at the moment.
OAR 1-6 Great Britain
Even without the advantage of the hammer, Eve Muirhead's team extend their advantage. OAR, with their final stone, remove one of the yellow British bricks from the house, but one remains to give Britain an extra point.
OAR 1-5 Great Britain
Right now, we're all about women's curling with Great Britain in control of their opening group game against OAR. Four points to the good, they are pressuring the Russian hammer in this fourth end.
If you're just waking up, I feel your pain. No one should be unasleep at this hour. As you're here, though, I'll tell you waht's happened overnight....
Ski jumping practice in the nordic combined has got under way, defying the strong winds. The competition found was due to start at 06:00, but that will be pushed back.

OAR 1-5 Great Britain
Steve Cram
Curling commentator on BBC TV
The whole Great Britain team are pulling together here, it's a wonderful start to their first match.
They're playing well, but at the moment they've been allowed to play well. They've not been put under too much pressure and OAR continue to make mistakes.
OAR 1-5 Great Britain
Great Britain have sizable lead after only three ends. They are punishing Russian mistakes. All four women are contributing, while OAR look a little flustered.
OAR 1-3 Great Britain
Another Russian error. Their final stone can't stay in the house. Muirhead simply has to remove the remaining Russian stone for two points...

OAR 1-3 Great Britain
GB could be in a spot of bother in this end. OAR have stones in point-scoring positions, far enough apart that they can't be removed with one British stone...
OAR 1-3 Great Britain
GB are lying shot with three stones left to play. Anna Sloan, the shortest of the quartet, is in deep conversation with Muirhead. Lots of broom pointing from Muirhead, who could be playing with a giant chess set. Muirhead crouches, points where she wants the stone and the left-handed Sloan removes one of the Russian stones.
OAR 1-3 Great Britain
Eve Muirhead, by the way, is not only a world-class skip with eyes that could crack glass, she is also a golfer with a handicap of two and good enough on the bagpipes to have appeared in the world championships. Her brothers Glen and Thomas are part of the GB men's team.

Sometimes, when you have such an easy shot to play you can lose concentration.
It's very early stages in this match but things working out well for Great Britain so far.
OAR 1-3 Great Britain
Huge error by Not Russia. With the house unguarded, the final stone only needs sliding into position for two points on the board. Instead, it's woefully short, meaning OAR only pick up one. The hammer passes back to GB and Muirhead's team have a great chance to extend their lead.
OAR 0-3 Great Britain
We're only two ends in and Eve Muirhead is attempting trick shots. She tried to take out two Russian stones, almost a curling equivalent of a 7-10 split, but can only remove one. Russian set to pull two back...
