Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt win again! Back-to-back gold medals. It's German celebrations once again.

That is a tremendous return to winning ways - especially given how they must have felt watching Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken dominate the World Cup scene in recent months.

What an effort. Never in any doubt to be honest, that was silky smooth.

Te 30-year-olds have won gold again.

The Austrian pair of Peter Penz and Georg Fischler go fastest! They are mobbed by team-mates and that's nearly a nasty collision! They are guaranteed at least a silver.

It's all on German pair Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt.

    Luge: Doubles

    John Hunt

Wow! We thought Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken were going to be unbeatable in this competition but they may only get a bronze!

They seem happy with that run though but given their form coming into the Olympics they must have thought they were in with a great chance of winning.

Toni Eggert and Sascha Benecken clock a slower time than in round one. They take the lead and have guaranteed a medal - but it may be only a bronze.

Kat: I wonder who first said "I'm gonna lie on this tray and go feet first down this ice at 80mph, so do you want to lie on top of me?"

Team GB tracker: So it was fine for Team GB to have inferior equipment during the Luge but now we have an advantage in Skeleton it's suddenly controversial?

With five pairs to go Latvian duo Andris and Juris Sics hold the lead.

They have three Olympic medals already (each).

Will their combined time of 1:32.442 be enough for another?

  15. 'Disappointing Games'published at 12:54 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Luge: Doubles

That is a bit better from Andris Sics and Juris Sics. The Koreans have done their job and the Sics brothers move to the lead but there are some big names still to come.

It is probably a disappointing Olympic Games for the Latvian pair.

    Canada 4-2 GB

I think colleague Louise Gwilliam has nailed the appeal of curling:

"Curling is so utterly British. Everyone standing around discussing what to do, each person having their say until we just go with the original option. (After apologising to the others for not using theirs of course."

GB still trail but are still in the game. Into end six.

The stewards at the luge are truly world class. They look away from the track, not once turning to look at the sled coming down at 75mph+!

    Great self restraint.
