    Luge: Doubles

    John Jackson
Two-time Olympic bobsledder on BBC TV

It is just about absorbing the atmosphere and feel of these Olympic Games for some of the athletes competing towards the back of the pack.

    Skeleton suit debate

    Chemmy Alcott
Four-time Olympic alpine ski racer on BBC TV

I think competitors are getting a bit worried. This is controversial but I think they [British opponents] have started a ripple of chat to get into our athletes' heads.

I am hoping they [British athletes] are not letting this panic in. This is the Olympics - everyone wants to win. We are the biggest threat in skeleton right now and everybody wants to displace us.

Richard S: Other athletes complaining about GB Skeleton technology - isn't it available to everyone? If GB win because of helmet or suit design, other nations can use the same design. The fact we don't win at all events elsewhere should prove this is not a big deal.

Tom Roberts: You can have a go at Curling in schools. Through getting 'Kurling' sets. Same game albeit the 'stones' are suitable for hall surfaces. No need for an ice rink!

    Canada 4-2 GB

    Canada look strong.

As you'd expect - a reminder that Canada are the kings of curling. Since the sport was reintroduced to the Olympic programme in 1998, they have done no worse than finish second, and have won gold at the last three Games. Such is their strength in depth in the sport that Brad Jacobs and his rink – the Sochi gold medallists – didn’t make it through the Canadian trials so will not be able to defend their crown in South Korea.

    Curling: Canada 4-2 Great Britain

    Rhona Howie
Olympic gold medalist curler on BBC TV

Nobody wants to play Canada in the semi-final of an Olympic Games but you just have to make sure, you get yourself into the quarter-final first.

A loss for Great Britain isn't the end of the world. They just need to focus on here and now because it's a long week.

  7. On the skeleton suit debate...published at 12:32 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2018

    Amy Williams
Olympic gold medallist skeleton racer on BBC TV

We are always thinking where can we gain margins? There are very strict rule-books though. They are the same for every country so I have no worries whatsoever. People just don't want you winning do they?

    Canada 4-1 GB

Canada have been on every Olympic podium since the sport was reintroduced to the Games in 1998, and they are the reigning men’s and women’s champions. Such is their strength in depth that neither of those 2014 gold medallists earned selection to defend their titles.

    Luge: Doubles

    John Hunt
    BBC TV commentator in Pyeongchang

That's all 20 pairings done. We're in somewhat predictable standings because Germany are dominating this but not in the way we thought they would...

Because Sascha Benecken and Toni Eggert are in third and it's Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt who are in first.
