  2. Frimpong safely downpublished at 01:13 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2018

Skeleton: Men's heats one and two

Safely down from the Ghanaian, Akwasi Frimpong, but he does not look too happy with his time as he is well off the pace.

Still, an incredible story for him to be in South Korea to start with. His time is 53:97 seconds, the slowest of the six to have gone, with Jamaica's Anthony Watson the next slowest.

    BBC One

An update on the BBC coverage. We have the men's skeleton on BBC One right now, with the women's curling between Great Britain and the USA on the Red Button.

The lead keeps changes hands in that one. GB were 1-0 up, then 2-1 down but are now 3-2 in front after five of 10 ends.

Skeleton: Men's heats one and two

    Caroline Chapman

The crowd are buzzing for the skeleton this morning. Jamaica's Anthony Watson encounters a few hairy moments along his first run, and the spectators respond with gasps and winces.

The first three contenders have gone down. Look out for Britain's Dom Parsons, who goes 16th and Jerry Rice 21st.

  6. 'This track suits our athletes'published at 01:06 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2018

Skeleton: Men's heats one and two

    Amy Williams
Olympic gold medallist skeleton racer on BBC TV

Dom Parsons clearly enjoys this track, he gets on with it and it suits our athletes.

When you're relaxed, having fun and at an Olympics wanting to enjoy your sliding, that's when you do well and the best comes out of you.

His training runs have been going well, let's just hope it all comes together again today.

  7. Nervous start for Watsonpublished at 01:05 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2018

Skeleton: Men's heats one and two

A moment of history for Anthony Watson, the first man from Jamaica to take part in this event. But it is not a dream start as he goes wide late on and clips the wall, but he is down safely but will be well down the field later on because of that error.

  8. GB suits cause controversypublished at 01:01 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2018

Skeleton: Men's heats one and two

There has been a bit of controversy over the suits that the Great Britain athletes are wearing in the skeleton, after some impressive performances in training.

It even led to the sport's governing body to issue a statement saying GB had not done anything wrong.

Their statement said: "The International Bobsleigh and Skeleton Federation currently checked race suits of the British skeleton team. There were no rule violations at the presented suits."
