    Curling: GB 1-0 USA

    Steve Cram
    Curling commentator on BBC TV

I wouldn't say that end was full of great shots from either team.

It's not so much nerves, but they're having to get used to the conditions again. They'll be glad to get first few shots out of the way.

After four practice runs at the Sliding Centre in Alpensia, it's time for the men's skeleton to officially get under way.

The 30 competitors will go twice today, with two further heats on Friday, and their times will be added together decide the overall standings.

Britain are represented by Dom Parsons and Jerry Rice.

Parsons, who finished 10th in Sochi, was superb in training. He was fastest on two occasions, and also clocked a fifth and sixth-place finish.

Rice is a first-time Olympian whose best placing was eighth in practice.

  6. A big day for Team Muirheadpublished at 00:12 Greenwich Mean Time 15 February 2018

    Curling: GB 0-0 USA

    Jackie Lockhart
Four-time Olympic curler on BBC TV

I can't see past Team GB winning this match at the moment. These girls are very, very experienced, against a less experienced USA side.

The girls look like they feel very comfortable, which is good to see.

When you're relaxed it's so much easier to play better.

    So, why so much today?

Well basically, the wind-affected events that has smashed the alpine skiing schedule to pieces sees a number of competitions moved on to today.

That includes the alpine skiing, with the medals handed out in the ladies' giant slalom and the men's downhill.

There are 15 sports in the Winter Olympics, and we have events in 11 of them, as well as training sessions in two more of them - bobsleigh and ski jumping.
