As a skip you want your team to have input, but you want the final say, for your own confidence. And then it's important the shots get executed right, so the team has confidence in the skip's decision making.

    Curling: Women's round-robin GB 2-4 China

There's a massive noise inside the arena - that's because Korea have taken the lead against Japan.

Hmm. A brilliant shot from China's skip, weighted perfectly, knocks GB's stone out of the way and it's three Chinese stones to none. High-fives all round.

GB are just ever so slightly struggling with the ice. I'm not sure if they need to step back and relax. I know they're trying, and no-one wants to make mistakes, but it's all going on the wrong side for GB at the moment.

GB are leading 2-1, so we don't want to be too negative, but they are letting opportunities slip here, and you can pay for that later on.

"What else you thinking?" "I don't know, Eve..."

Eve Muirhead goes too far, and then too short, as GB take a lead after three ends. The skip looks a touch frustrated with herself.

The GB girls strung together a very good end last time, they forced China to settle for the one, and that's what you have to do if you don't have the hammer - it's like damage limitation. This time they'll be looking to be more assertive.
