    Biathlon: Men's 20km individual

We are under way at the Alpensia Biathlon Centre.

Five 4km circuits and four rounds of shooting await the 86 competitors. In this format, a one minute penalty is automatically added to your time for every miss, with 20 targets in total.

Defending champion Martin Fourcade from France is the man to beat. He has already defended his 12.5km Olympic pursuit title this week in Pyeongchang.

Canada's Jordan Belchos has jumped into the gold medal spot in the men's 10,000m speed skating, topping Bart Swings' time by more than four seconds.

A long way to go, mind, with favourite Sven Kramer out last.

When you don't have the hammer, you're trying to block up the four-foot, so that's what GB are trying to do in this end. But it's a game of cat and mouse really, as China will always look to remove the blockers. There's a lot of strategy involved.

Tan Weidong, the China coach, has the ultimate game face on as he watches his charges.

Great Britain's coach, Glenn Howard, goes for a different approach. Thumbs up, massive cheesy grin.

We've seen a couple of errors slipping in for GB already. The girls need to think about the shots they're making - we saw Eve Muirhead knock her own stone away. They've got the one, but they really would have been looking for to score a two to start the game with.

It's not all going Great Britain's way at the minute, as an Eve Muirhead catches a GB high stone right on the edge of the ring.

The Brits have the the hammer, Muirhead slides - and it's good! A point for the Brits after the first end.

The men's 10,000m speed skating is about to get under way over at the Gangneung Oval.

Sven Kramer set a new Olympic record to bag an eighth gold medal when he won the 5,000m earlier this week, but the Dutchman is yet to win the title over the longer distance.

He'll face competition from countryman Jorrit Bergsma and Canada's Ted-Jan Bloemen.

The Muirheads are dominating the curling in Pyeongchang - Eve is competing in her third Games while brothers Thomas and Glen are in their first.

Four of the five male curlers in the British team are sons of world champions, while captain Cam Smith's uncle finished fifth at the 2010 Olympics.

Thomas and Glen also share day time jobs - they share a 400-acre farm just outsie Crieff in Perthshire.

The GB women have got a real big team behind them, so they will have regrouped in the village, after today's defeat to USA. They're very experienced and I expect them use all of it, and to come out fighting tonight. The game against China won't be easy, but when we look at what they can do, and believe, I think they can get the win.

The GB men's curlers are young guys and this is a huge, huge stage to be performing on. They always had a tough start on paper, so to come out of their first three games with two wins is a really good effort - it's a really good start.
