    Breaking

Alexander Krushelnitsky has been stripped of the mixed doubles curling bronze medal won at the Winter Olympics after admitting to using meldonium, the Court of Arbitration for Sport's anti-doping division has announced.

Krushelnitsky finished third in the event with his wife, Anastasia Bryzgalova, but now the International Olympic Committee will reallocate the medal.

While we're talking curling, I need some suggestions for the primetime BBC One celebrity curling gameshow format I'm going to pitch.

Every Saturday night for 14 weeks. Mr T and Sandi Toksvig to host, hopefully.

Mixed doubles - someone from TOWIE and one of Little Mix v John Humprhys and Cheryl Baker.

    TV Gold, surely?

I just need a title so please send me some suggestions...

  7. Where's the curling?published at 07:50 Greenwich Mean Time 22 February 2018

In an extraordinarily rare event there is currently NO LIVE CURLING I'm afraid to report.

    GB's men are out.

Switzerland stunned them with a rare five-point stone in the ninth end to end GB's hopes of reaching the curling semi-finals.

    Men's team event

We have some live action to report as the ski-jumping element of the men's team Nordic Combined gets under way.

Athletes have one scored ski jump (large hill), then a 4x5km relay cross-country freestyle race. Easy!

The team event is primed for a showdown between Norway and Germany. The Norwegian team held an in-house truth and reconciliation-style process at the end of a frustrating 2016-17 campaign that culminated with Germany winning all four gold medals on offer at the World Championships.

Austria have impressive Winter Olympic pedigree, while away from the standout top three the likes of Japan, Olympic team gold medallists in 1992 and 1994, will like their chances of a podium position, especially given World Cup leader Akito Watabe’s form this season.
