Mixed doubles curling
In some rather unsavoury news on the curling front, Russian curler Alexander Krushelnitsky has been stripped of his Winter Olympics bronze medal after being found guilty of doping.
The 25-year-old was one of 168 Russians allowed to compete as neutrals at the Games despite the country being banned for previous doping offences.
Krushelnitsky, who won mixed-doubles bronze with wife Anastasia Bryzgalova, tested positive for meldonium.
The Court of Arbitration for Sport said he admitted the anti-doping violation.
With Krushelnitsky and Bryzgalova's third place annulled, when the bronze medal is officially reallocated it will go to Norway.
Game of stones has got legs.

POTENTIAL RIGHTS ISSUE
Frank Rodolf: Not sure if you guys know over there, but here in the Netherlands, one of the channels actually shows a "Curling quiz"... Two teams of Dutch athletes and "celebs" competing in a combination of trivia and curling...
Yes, we are filling time discussing titles for my Saturday night primetime show. But there is some sport on the horizon. Just a little way over it.

Men's alpine skiing
British skiier Dave Ryding speaking to BBC Sport's Chemmy Alcott: "I'm not complaining about the top 10 finish - it's been a solid day. I gave it all I had and ninth is really pleasing.
"I made a couple of mistakes, which costed me the flow of the course, so I know I had a bit more in me, but it's the Olympics so I'll take it.
"We've got good depth in the team, and there's other guys coming up. I'll be 35 at the next Olympics, and there's still life in the old dog yet."
Team-mate Laurie Taylor added: "To finish in the top 30 was my aim so I'm really happy to end up in 26th.
"The butterflies were definitely there, but with Dave here, it's just great to watch him. There's so many areas he's trying to make himself better, so it's good to watch him. We're going together in the doubles, so that'll be good, and I'm looking forward to it."
Maybe a new Les Paul?
My new favourite gold medallist is slalom winner Andre Myhrer.
"I'm not sure what the Olympic gold is worth in guitars, maybe I will have to buy two," he said when asked about his habit of buying a guitar when he wins.
YOU CAN NEVER HAVE TOO MANY

Men's Nordic Combined
After the ski jumping section it's Austria who lead.
Their score of 469.5 means that they will start the cross-country relay with a 6-ish second lead.
That gets under way at 10:20 GMT.

Mike Green: The GB women's bobsleighers deserve real praise. A great effort to finish eighth. Hopefully they can get some proper funding and comeback and do better in 2022.
Sweep! is my early favourite. Potentially brings Winton into the hosting mix.

Mike Linwood: Sweep! (The exclamation mark is vital)
Jamie Bowen: Hammer to Fall.
Nick: Everything but the curl.
G: Toe curling?
