Seo Yira is gutted, in front of his home crowd. What will the judges say? The two who finished are Samuel Girard and RyoSuke Sakazume...
Men's 500m
Another Korean, Seo Yira is away in the third quarter final. CRASH! The world champion is gone, into the barriers. Ouch.
Just two are left on their feet and they go through - for now.
Consider that a gauntlet laid down.
Men's 500m
Booom! The ice is fast tonight guys, and no mistake.
Wu Dajing absolutely smokes the rest of the field, he's under 40 seconds and it's a new World Record of 39.8 seconds!
Daeheon Hwang of Korea also goes through.
Men's 500m
After one false start, Wu Dajing does indeed skate off into the lead...

Inland: Short track speed skating back on. Easily the best thing at any Winter Olympics. This should be how everyone gets to work in the mornings.
Men's 500m
Another Chinese skater, Wu Dajing, broke the Olympic record earlier this week. He goes in the next race.
Men's 500m
Crash at the back of the field but Shaolin Liu does go through in second, behind Ren Ziwei of China who blitzes the Olympic Record. 40.032 seconds!
He means business.
You can watch at the top of your screens.
Men's 500m
Elise will be watching, I would have thought. Her partner Shaolin Liu is in this first race.
Men's 500m
As Elise Christie fans will know, the top two in each race go through. There may be crashes, there may well be video reviews. Drama guaranteed.

Men's curling: GB 5-9 Switzerland
Rhona Howie
Olympic gold medalist curler on BBC TV
Things were going really well for the guys, they were 4-1 up, and really in control of the game. They were playing really well and they were hitting their shots with precision.
Kyle and the team will go home now, and play the winners of the Scottish championships, for a place at the World Championships. But Kyle and the team have had a great week and they'll definitely be back, fighting even harder.
They've finished in fifth, half-way up the table, and if they'd had beaten USA, they'd have been in the top four. But for a first Olympic games for them all, it's a fantastic performance, and a great effort from them all.
ICYMI this morning. GB's men are OUT of the curling...
This looks so hard. Not to mention painful.
South African skier Connor Wilson falls twice as 43 of the 111 competitors fail to finish the men's slalom.

Jo Cooper: GB's curling lads have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of not making the semi-final. They’ve all done brilliantly and have given us much to be proud of. Chin up lads!

Sarah: Surely Basil Brush has to be part of the presenting team?!
Kevin Cogley: Slip-sliding away.
Men's 500m
And it's short-track speed skating up next. We'll have the men's 500m quarter-finals in about 15 minutes.
Elise Christie update
BBC Radio 5 live
Elise Christie on competing in long track skating or cycling: "Cycling was always one of my dreams to try and do that. Unfortunately with not winning a medal here, I doubt that's a journey I’m going to go on now.
"People are watching me for short track and that’s what people have backed me for. I owe it to short track.
"I was talking about coming back and doing both events at the next games – long track and short track. It’s hard to do long track because there isn’t a facility in Britain so it’d be whether I could train for it properly.
"Long track is the, not easier one, but one where less things can go wrong. I think there’s a good chance in that."
USA win stunning gold
What a shootout this morning. Jocelyne Lamoureux-Davidson scored the winner for the US with a lovely move where she went around the keeper. It seems it was somehow inspired by Britney Spears...
On her winning shootout goal:
"I've done that thousands of times around tyres just set out on open ice. It's called 'Oops, I did it again' and I'm just thrilled beyond words. I've butchered it a thousand times, ran into tyres, tripped over tyres just working on my hands. Just glad it worked out this time."
